Better yet, has anyone wanted to see Pike play, lets say the week the stay at home dad came in. Ive been wanting him to play since that game, whats everyone elses thoughts/

It cant be any worse with him, but thats just one of Fox's flaws, not giving a guy a chance.

You have a 15 yo son who just got his learner's permit. He's performs FAIR in the mall parking lot, slightly brushing against 1 light pole, a couple shopping carts, and killing 1 stray cat. Are you ready for him to Chaufer you the length of Independence Boulevard at 5 PM on Friday?

Actually I feel for anyone taking snaps for the Panthers and I'm sure Luck does as well.

We probably will not start Luck, assuming we get him, until the OLINE is good. We are not far from that--Otah back, get a RG (although Schwartz is not doing bad at RG). The leaks are at LG (Bernadeau) and RT (Williams). Neither will see the field next season.

Having said that, I hope we get a coach who allows the TE to become more of a weapon, along with the FB. In addition, someone who knows how to run a screen pass. Finally, our WRs will be more experienced and coached better.

Get that together, and then bring Luck in.

    • Some people will shift the goal posts but he does still have to consistently help the team win, eventually. Not only help but be the reason. That's what franchise QB's do.
    • One of the Carolina Panthers' newest defenders thinks their pass rush can go from worst to first. ESPN's David Newton recently chatted with outside linebacker Pat Jones II, who signed with the Panthers as a free agent earlier this offseason. Jones comes over from an awfully impressive Minnesota Vikings defense—one that ranked first in takeaways (33), fourth in sacks (49) and second in QB pressure rate (44.4 percent) this past season. And despite a historically-bad campaign by Carolina's defense in 2024, the 26-year-old seems to believe his new unit can be similar—or even better—than his last. "I definitely think we could do something similar, if not better," Jones said, via Newton. "I've seen it before, so I know what it looks like. I look around the building and see we have exactly what it takes to do that." https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/24/panthers-pat-jones-vikings-espn/83840667007/?taid=683219b347846900018fa10a&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter     It's the offseason.  Let hope spring eternal. (actually, I think we are much closer than this board thinks)
    • 5 total TDs against the Falcons was pretty good efficiency and he showed that ability to go off scripts and get 2 of those TDs rushing.  How many times did he deliver big time throws against pressure.  I agree we need to see this offense operate at high efficiency which starts with Bryce. When he does I hope the goals posts won’t shift to some other stat like QB sneaks lol
