Heh. Wasn’t intended that way, just what I saw. That’s why I hate the “completion % = accuracy” rhetoric. There’s so many other factors that go into whether a ball is caught vs whether it was an accurate throw.

Yup, you could say that about Arizona's QB too, T-Mac made a lot of catches that he had no business making because of poor throws.

I don't blame anyone at all for being pessimistic knowing this team. But this draft does definitely feel different in many ways. Some of this is legitimately down to just plain dumb luck too. We'll see.

I do believe Tepper let Morgan and Canales handle it.

I think we had a really good draft 😃

I have read different articles that rated the Panthers draft as A, B, and then D. The D was due to the fact that the first pick was not defense. Not much credit for the picks we made in the following rounds. I see people talking about how well the Falcons did. I disagree. They traded next years #1, and only have 6 picks next year. The fact that we got the players we did and still have all of next years picks is huge. One big thing is that we finally are through with the picks we gave for Bryce. I agree that we had a good draft, hopefully we will be proven correct.

I agree and I just read this article that gave us a B- I think they did good hopefully we will be proven correct I have a really good feeling about the upcoming season

Carolina Panthers

The Panthers made Tetairoa McMillan the first pure wide receiver taken at No. 8 overall, six spots after dual threat Travis Hunter came off the board. That was a bit early for McMillan, but not egregiously so. Carolina did reasonably well with the values of pass rusher Nic Scourton in the second round and running back Trevor Etienne and safety Lathan Ransom in the fourth round.

Grade: B-

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
