Seems like risking $1k on a sure thing bet to get back $2250 in a year would be a smart move if you had to risk over $28k to net $2k.

Just saying...

Ironically I've made five or six 1000$ one leg bets and lost them all, ive had much more success throwing together 10 100$ parleys were i hedge the most questionable legs.   DK isn't my main book 365 is for the early payouts.

And logically yes it is im just incredibly inpatient I get annoyed and end up cashing my futures after a month or two.

I’m guessing this means they get bailed out on that albatross contract now, of course.

Some.

Anything they already paid him such as this years ten million bonus, will still be a cap/dead money hit.  But I read that it does clear about 30 million of his large cap hit.

I'd trade anyone of value, start rattler or whoever and start from scratch in 26

This will be an interesting year for Sellers.

On one hand, he’s a bonafide Heisman candidate and a #1 overall pick prospect.

On the other, the Gamecocks picked up a 5 star QB in the portal in Air Noland and he’s been turning heads. It would take a downright disaster for Sellers to get benched, but as a Gamecock fan - nothing surprises me anymore and we never have good things.

Except that The Golden Calf of Bristol was a legitimately GREAT college QB (and he was a 1st round draft pick not a 7th). Like one of the legit best of all time. And it was only for one year. That's a terrible comparison.

Plenty of other examples Joe Burrow sitting behind Dwayne Haskins, JT Barret extra

Joe Burrow was a borderline top 200 recruit. Arch Manning was everyone's #1.  And Dwayne Haskins was was a top 15 NFL draft pick. Ohio State never signed Burrow expecting him to start for them, then he transferred to LSU and absolutely exploded as a super senior.

If you look at the dead money on their cap, its already pretty high.  Lattimore alone is 30 million.  Most of their bigger contracts don't seem to buy them much in terms of trading or cutting.  Best to play with what you have this year, and then start doing the cuts after this season.

We might get to see Taysom Hill at qb a lot.  🙂

    • When I tell people I was at that game, they usually say oh that’s so cool you had the experience. I call it soul crushing. Why? The weeks and months leading up to it were great, the team was fun to watch every week…some weeks the offense was unstoppable and carried the team (saints and giants road games), other times the defense carried the load (jaguars, tampa). Lots of back and forth games against good teams (Seattle and Indy). Good young players on the team, but the veteran leadership was incredible…from Cam, Olsen, Kalil and J Stew to Luke, TD, Norman, Tillman, Jared Allen, CJ. Role players like Fozzy Whitaker, Cotchery (he caught that MFer), Philly brown, Kyle love, AJ Klein, and so on.  The Friday before the nfc championship my wife and I after a few drinks said let’s see what prices look like for flights/accommodations and we got to talking about how much prices would increase if we waited until we found out if we would be in the big game. We said screw it, we are only out $200 if we have to cancel.  Of course we come out and just pulverized the cardinals in front of the most raucous crowd by far we’ve ever had. We had no idea what we would do for game tickets and then found out a neighbor who worked for the team could get us 2 for face value (each employee got two of their own for free, something cool that JR did).  But then the NFL mafia decided that the storyline of manning going out on top like Elway would give them more goodwill than a non traditional QB who didn’t connect with their target demo and the rest is history. I never have and never will watch that game again. I am just hoping I can see them win one in the 2nd half of my life.
    • Dude you are smart fan. 3 on 0 breakaways won’t matter who is in net. You gotta be better on this one.
    • Raiders are gonna get a good one. Rather have Mendoza fly out and play for the Panthers tomorrow than Bryce
