Canes got booed off the ice

Never happened under Rod. It happened twice tonight.

We will see tomorrow night if Rod and the team received the message. If we're heavily out shot again and not getting pucks on net, I can promise you this series is over. We're not in a spot to win 4 straight

Perhaps there will be less pressure on the road? 

I don't know. But what we've seen so far is NOT canes hockey.

If it wasn’t obvious already I think it’s pretty clear that we don’t match up well with Florida. They do what we do, only way better. And their coach isn’t an idiot who decides to experiment with his lines and call up minor league prospects deep into the postseason.

Well he had to use a "call up" so to speak the issue we have is instead of using the consensus #1 defensive *prospect* a guy whose basically a generational type talent he chose to go with Scott Morrow again.... an AHL quality offense only RHD who was party to 4 goals allowed the game before.....

He also strangley chose to bench KK instead of Roslovic....

Yeah that worked sooooo well, yep lets lose a far better defender and size matchup for....  2 extra face offs.... and then proceed to lose 10% more face offs than game 1

I love rod but he getting out coached in every way possible. Also, Burns lead all defenders with 28 minutes of ice time?  Why not Slavin?

Even though Morrow ended up with 10 minutes, he basically played 4 d most of the game Walker finished with nine minutes after leaving the game 2 minutes into the second.....

 

Morrow played 5 minutes in the last ten minutes of the third.....

 

WHY WOULD YOU PLAY A GUY ONLY TO BE SO SCARED YOU LEAVE HIM ON THE BENCH EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE DOWN A RIGHT HANDED DEFENSIVE SHOT.....

 

WE PLAYED 4 D BASICALLY HALF THE GAME

Ooooof It took me a second but I just realized why Burns played 28 minutes and its even more of an indictment of his horrid decision making.

BRET BURNS PLAYED 28 MINUTES LAST NIGHT 5 MORE THAN ANY OTHER D MAN.

WALKER LEFT 2 MINUTES INTO THE SECOND AND DID NOT RETURN ROD WITH FIVE HEALTHY DEFENSEMEN LEFT 3 LEFT HAND D AND 2 RIGHT HAND D CHOSE TO KEEP MORROW ON THE BENCH UNTIL WE WERE DOWN 5-0 OPTING TO PLAY 40 YEAR OLD BURNS FOR 28 MINUTES AND PLAYING WITH JUST 4 DEFENSEMEN!!!! BECAUSE 

 

BURNS PLAYED 28 MINUTES BECAUSE ROD WAS TOO SCARED TO PLAY THE GUY HE DRESSED OVER A POTENTIAL GAME CHANGER YOU CANT MAKE THIS poo UP.
