That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation.

Screw the (Florida) Panthers?

Watching Florida dominate other teams makes me feel better about the Canes, it's not a Canes problem , it's a Florida problem 

Florida is just simply miles ahead of the rest of the league, they dominated Edmenton and Toronto the same way they dominated us, we are in the prime Brady/Bellicheck Patriots era, except it's Murice/Bobvroski Panthers era 

And just think, it wasn't that long ago when Florida was always in relocation talks, and always the bottom feeders of the southeastern conference, now they own the league

To think the last decade has been dominated by 2 teams who have 70 degree winters and only encounter ice in thier freezer

Florida has 100% stars across the board.  Maybe not Mcdavid but stars.  Bennett, Reinhart, Eckblad, Thachuk, and Marchand, hell BOB is a Bonafide superstar.  Yes, I know I spelled their names wrong because I'm too lazy to look them up.  Florida is loaded.  But what makes them different is the size and the depth.  Their 4th line is big.  GMET has the blueprint with $30mil to spend.  Go do it!

      Worst Panthers Preseason Yet

      Also, the fact we are comparing this one to the 10 preseason tells me we are in for another horrible year.

      Well, they're both in the same league (if you will). During preseason, Fitz went 3/3 & Sauls went 5/6, but of course Sauls was 4/4 last night (including one 50+). Both were Lou Groza Award finalists. I believe Fitz made two 55+ yarders last season, while Sauls led the nation with three. Fitz was 13/13 (💯) while Sauls was 21/24 (87.5). Fitz was a 3rd-Team AP All-American, while Sauls was a PFF All-American.  Career-wise, Fitz was 58/74 (78.4), while Sauls was 52/64 (81.3). I wish that I could see the attempts and knew the depth of yardage. I wish that we could compare practice kicks during their training camps, but we can't. Maybe someone with a PFF/CFF account can give that Basically it's just a matter of belief I guess. Seeing dude knock down four FGs and go perfect during a pressure-filled game for him is damned impressive if you ask me. I don't believe that Fitzgerald could do that.  That being said, I'd have to know more. I will say that it may be worth mentioning that we seem to like PFF this year and Sauls being a PFF All-American may be notable. Now that being said, the Panthers may not be even considering Sauls.

      Ive said it 1000x times on here.  Our 2025 season will be dictated by the first 4 games.  poo the bed there and lose all confidence and momentum, we win 5 games maybe.  Go 2-2, 3-1 we got a look at 7/8 wins
