Jaycee Horn said once he gets his stitches out, he’s good to go. Not sure if that will happen before HOU practice and preseason game.

If the other starter is Scott, he should not feel good about it....

At this point I've yet to see his prowess in this area come to fruition. We've brought in a lot of players he was high on. Any word on when DJ Johnson is finally turning the corner?

Can we please stop dinging up the OL boys?

Seriously. It's the one unit where we have some depth or at least I thought we did. Reports on the backups' actual performance has been not good. But I'd like to not have to seriously test that depth in the regular season.

Corey Thornton continuing to be a DAWG

Excited to see what Evero does this season now that he's had some talent committed to the defensive side of the ball. When LaBryan Ray is getting more than 51% of the snaps there isn't much else that can be done other than call a lot of cover-3 with the occasional fire zone mixed in.

Honestly, my money is on him getting canned prior to the seasons in an effort for DC to save face. Not suggesting Evero won't deserve it but technically that wasn't a DC guy, he was inherited.

If the team comes out and the defense is consistently losing games, then yea it's probably best to move on.

But, like Bryce, when looking at the situations they were in it's really hard to just make him the scapegoat before the season starts.

There is ample blame for all of this to go around but Tepper has a real short leash on head coaches and year two of significantly under .500 ball isn't gonna go well, IMO.

Now, if I am in Tepper's shoes, I would already be looking past this year. Anything close to .500 is absolutely spectacular. Gotta let someone eventually have the opportunity to attempt to build.

Tepper cares about Bryce and offense. If we win 3 games but score 27 PPG, Canales is safe.
