C0@CH K!LL@H is 1-15 on the road for his career, he sucks man. No one here is over reacting about how bad he is as an NFL quarterback. He has won 6 games in the NFL gong into year 3.

In all honestly, as a Bryce supporter from the start it's pretty clear he's probably not the answer at this point. I wouldn't be shocked if he turned it around this year, but odds are we'll be looking for a new QB come draft season.

That said, anyone calling for Bryce to be benched is wrong. We MUST have one of two outcomes to this season for this franchise to move ahead:

1) Bryce turns it around and establishes himself as a franchise QB.

2) Bryce continues to struggle, we lose a bunch of games and end up with a top-5 pick that we can use to draft a QB next year.

Anything in between those two outcomes doesn't do us much good.

All things considered, he is pretty close

Let's not get too crazy here. There have been some pretty God awful QBs in NFL history that Bryce - even at his worst - is far better than. He at least has managed a handful of wins and some decent performances, like last year against the Chiefs, Eagles and Falcons.

Just off the top of my head: JaMarcus Russell, Paxton Lynch, Ryan Leaf, Akili Smith, Johnny Manziel and that's just a handful of 1st rounders off the top of my head that were, at worst, no better than Bryce.

100%  it's ride or die with Bryce no matter what is happening.  No way you can bench for multiple reasons.   It's year 3.  He has to figure it out but we know how this plays out it's just going to suck ass to spend another top 10 pick on an offensive player.  A qb none the less

1 win on the road in 3 years.   How many of those qbs had the draft capital spent on them and they still kept chances?    All things considered he is a mega bust and simply not built for the nfl.   Mentally or physically.  And for the love of God Bryce please quit doing that stupid first down point when you are getting skull drugged.

CJ hasn't exactly been lighting it up himself.

Yeah, but he possesses the talent. Dude still has top end arm strength and can throw with anticipation.  Not his fault Houston has decided to trot out the worst oline in the league in front of him (arguably has had the worst oline in the NFL in front of him since he was drafted).

We drafted Bryce because we thought he had the processing ability of Brady. In reality, he has the processing ability of Jamarcus Russell

Terrible?  No doubt he was Sunday.  Will he ever get gud?  No clue.

Listening the Panther's Playbook (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3K8QW-k4du0) the guys made an excellent point:  there is no trust.

Bryce isn't trusting his line, WRs or the system.  That's not good at all.  When Bryce has trust, we see what happened after the bye last year.  The biggest question is "where did the trust go?"

That's something that Canales and Co. need to figure out ASAP.  Look, I think Bryce is a nice guy, and I'm glad he's generationally wealthy.  But I want my Panthers to succeed.  If he's the guy to do it, great.  If not, be the guy we need to help us get that top 5 pick.

Thielen wanted to go home.  We did the right thing in letting him go.  He was good to us, so we were good to him.

Oh yeah

that’s our altruistic GM

That wR room is ssssoooo good that the one WR that Young could find sometimes, the Panthers  could afford  to move

they did Adam ‘a solid

how about doing the PSL holders a solid, and the other 51 players on the team by keeping Young’s target

this is a business not ‘make a wish’

    • Exactly.  You let him play out next season and continue to develop Thorton.  Jackson’s earned his next contract, but his age and the risk of tying up such a large portion of the payroll at one position leads me to believe that we’ll let him walk. In all likelihood, we’ll draft another CB, or two, and bring in some journeymen to fill the roster void, between now and the start of the 2027 season.  That’ll create more balance financially across the roster enabling us to invest in other areas.
    • As far as the NFCS … I think this division will be hotly contested the next couple of years.   I am tending to pay more respect to both Atlanta and the Saints n terms of how strong they will be moving forward, than not.    I am mixed on Ryan but think they have a decent roster to start with. I don’t think he blundered hiring Stefanski. And that offense can be dangerous with a QB. Plus, defense is arrow up. No 1st round pick, WB issues will dull their effectiveness. Question is, to what degree?   I think Moore is going to be a good HC and can overcome tape that people have on Shough. They need a lot but they were playing with people. Just the way you want to see all the way to the end.    Not sure about Tampa they have Mayfield but I don’t think they can maintain their success and Bowles is not going to last much longer. They have to go through all that. Gonna be tough once it starts. Might already have started.    For us I feel pretty good about Morgan. But less so about our offense, we have some short term RB and OL issues and those things are critical given what we are working with at QB.  Overall, mixed. Like a lot of what I see but some major question marks remain.
    • Absolutely. If we are talking about a 20 year old youngster. He's a grown-ass man, and he doesn't know what his job entails or how to do it? Maybe he will be better next year! It's the Panther way.
