The time to do that has passed. It was during the offseason and the draft.

I mean....the message was sent years ago when this roster was destroyed and subsequently never went anywhere.

Can't wait to see what we have in players until next year. Bite the bullet, send a late rounder for Jameis or Howell and let it fly.

"He is probably the worst player in the NFL."

I can't say I really disagree with him.

Oh please. Worst player n the NFL is a pretty big claim.

Watched our linebackers much? We have guys that can’t beat them out. And that’s just our team.

The Bucs GM drafted a kicker in round 2 and now has won a GM of the year award years later…sometimes you have to give things time.

I don't really think that is going to be the case here, especially given track record and results.

It would be nice, since Morgan is a Panther. I just don't see any indication of that.

It's a waste of a pick, TBH. I suppose given how poorly we draft, there is certainly an argument for doing so.

Both Howell and Winston would be very capable hands to land us a #1 overall pick.

It probably would be. Given that most 6th and 7th rounders aren't NFL game day material except on the Panthers, the pick might improve us slightly with a drafted player, but I'd like to see us actually be able to open up the field. I do think some of our offensive problem stem from defenses aren't afraid of Bryce's arm. They cover a short field and that makes life a lot easier for them.

If it doesn't work though, unless we get rid of the scouting department and whatever drafting algorithm Dave is making us use, it won't really matter anyway.

This team is soft top down.

That is a fairly frequent byproduct of teams run by offensive minds. I guess I’m profiling or something but that is my experience. You are taking that risk. All this fancy offense wins SBs sometimes but you look at Marino, Fouts, guys like that. Plenty didn’t. Great QBs but no championships.

Bryce and the team are just supporting their team mate cause the fans sure as hell don't.

Serious question.

Why do you watch the Panthers if they suck so bad, have sucked for so long, are cursed by the black cat, have an owner, GM, coach, OC, DC, that are horrible and draft so many players that don't excel in their first year?

The only thing more tiresome than the Panthers consistently being a losing franchise are the folks who seek to identify other fans as the first source of our problems.

You, nor any other fans are the source of any problems.  Watch, don't watch, complain, bitch and moan.  Knock yourself out.  I can't believe the people that complain non stop about everything (even when justified) week after week, are enjoying themselves.

I don't like when the team losing but I enjoy watching the team the way I enjoy watching a college team or high school team from the school I went to.  I'm a Panther fans because I've lived in the Carolinas all my life and enjoy the journey.

I think a lot of us OG's view this as something we just do out of habit at this point.

Which, bear in mind that in a fickle pro sports area that is the kind of people you do actually need to survive.

It sounds like your issue is less with the valid complaints and more with the fact that you just aren't having a positive time on the internet. If and when that becomes the case maybe it's best to unplug for a time. Nobody can do that for you that's a conscience choice you have to make for your own well being if it becomes a burden.

    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
    • You play the Saints that is great news for your O line.
