big game this weekend  

3. podcasts for board to enjoy. I leave them here with only a high level summation    

IMHO Time for Young to shine  …if that is possible …against a team that allows 287 air yards and 3.2 TDs in the air per game 

HL COMMENTS 
1.  It  is not sustainable to continuous win in spite of young  and his turnovers    Young has to start elevating the people around him and his own game 

2. Shoutouts to the denfensive coaches and changes made shouts out Rozeboom Wallace changes  swapping out roles.  Plus offensively, more variety In run game to inside zone which they had. It run before 
3. Young.  8 TDs vs 7 turnovers  
 4. Dallas D is horrible against Pass   Stout,against run   Is Young an asset?  Can Young take advantage of that Dallas DEFENSE weakness

5 Dallas is top ranked offense. They cannot fall behind 17 to 0 against this defense   Young has to protect the ball..no turnovers.  If they fall behind, they will not out be able to overcome Dallas offense
6. Young still bad in foot work and sailing balls etc   
  7. Canales very high on young defensive players  
8. Time and Important for Young to start elevating  his game or Panthers will look to another qb per Grazanio at ESPN

Well, dead last because of their pass defense.  Without the gimme yards of the AZ game we would probably rank 31st in passing.  

so in a shootout environment, our O is most defiantly going to be tested

      Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.

      I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.

      Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
