I am still reeling from us passing up Randy Moss

He would've probably been great here but honestly Minnesota was the perfect landing spot with a great aging QB in Randall Cunningham and a great veteran WR in Cris Carter go to lake him under his wing. Then they draft the perfect QB for him the next year in Dante Culpeper, a big armed guy whose strength was throwing the deep ball.

Skattaboo is doing his damage out of the RPO with dart

a.) neither is going to survive very long.

b.) we just saw what happened when Bryce tries a RPO and uh

Yeah, my Giants fan buddy is loving it but he realizes that the way these guys play it won't last long. I think Dart will settle down but Skattebo is CTE personified. He might be drooling on himself by the end of his rookie contract.

Can’t believe nobody is talking about Jaxon Dart launching into the defenders helmet last night. Dude did a jump headbutt like how you see a big horn do it and launched with the crown of his helmet into the side of the defender’s helmet. Wasn’t flagged or nothing. Must be nice playing for one of the NFLs favored franchises.

Yeah, but people around here like to have that revisionist eye and act like they knew Brooks would get re-injured and never make it to the field.

A lot easier to call the draft from a year past it versus a month before it, folks.

Brooks wasn’t better in college than Cam was. Cam literally destroyed everyone they played, including making Texas look like a team of high schoolers.

What is it that Cam is supposed to do differently? He is a running back. Dart will learn to slide, and eventually he won’t be playing with PS elevation receivers so he won’t have to run nearly as much.

While your thoughts on Warren and Skattebo are fun to ponder, there's just no way in hell I'm changing the first three (well, probably four) rounds of our draft. And, I seriously doubt that we'd be a good football team, much less a "very good football team," any more than we are now. Skat is the new, fun kid on the block, but he wasn't usurping Chuba or Dowdle (nor should he have in that scenario in my opinion), and McMillan will have a greater impact in this league than Warren. McMillan may just be a unicorn, but it's going to probably take a prototypical QB to unlock McMillan's oozing potential. And, lastly, Etienne is not some chump either. He doesn't have the power of Skat, but he makes up for it with speed and finesse. (Go Dawgs!)

And, no, I didn't forget Scourton or Umanmielen, but they're value to our squad goes without saying.

My comments go back to what I would have done in 2023. That is really when everything veered off of what I thought was good and well. I wanted to keep Wilks, re-sign Darnold and Foreman, and trade down in the draft to take Torrance, Kincaid, Charbonnet, or Mims obviously depending on where they fell. Knowing what was coming the next draft class, that was the prudent thing to do.

I’d still take Warren over Tet, or even Matthew Golden over Tet. Bryce needs guys who get open because right now, no one on this roster creates separation forcing Bryce to be a pinpoint passer which is insane because he’s 5’9. Give me receiving options that create space.

they called him a Mini-Mahomes yet have done nothing similar to what the Chiefs have done to capitalize on those “traits”. It’s absurd. Give me a tight end who can back yard ball, a slasher at running back, a power back, and two 4.3 receivers with exceptional route running.

That’s how you build around what Bryce has done well.
