I’m gonna say it… I’m proud of Bryce.

It was another 200+ RB day.  Dominant rushing day.   Thats easy living for a QB.  He was fine today

I’ll sing his praises when he can keep us in a game when the run he isn’t there, let alone dominant rush attack.

I agree, the ultimate measure for him and any QB, is can they do it on their own when they have to?  As another poster stated in this thread, and I agree, I evaluate Bryce on a game manager’s curve.  And by that metric, today was a great day.  I still think #1 overall picks need to be able to carry teams when nothing else is working, which is something Bryce still hasn’t shown.  To be fair though, even those guys need some balance - as Greg was saying during the game, it’s not about the a rush attempts so much as the fact that you need some explosive plays from those runs.  While that’s true, the ultimate measure for Bryce is gonna be, can he do it on the Sundays where we have the attempts but can’t rely on the run for explosives.  There’s still much to be proven from Bryce, but today was his most promising showing as a pro, imo.

Jets D stinks.  Jets are also a garbage time team.  Which means their pass D benefits from teams wanting to work clock on them.

They are not great, but their run d is a little better than the Cowboys and significantly better than the Dolphins.  Pass defense isn't very good.

But their biggest problem is they get no help from the offense and the other team usually has good field position because they don't do much on offense and get sacked a lot.

Bryce did his job, haters can eat crow.  He made clutch throws which is the most important trait to have as a franchise QB.

No it is not. Being able to elevate the team and not rely on your RB to run 200 yards every week is what makes a franchise QB. Bryce still is not it and needs to be replaced.

Game manager am I right?

Yeah….if Rico is the engine running the O and primary threat all day….and you have your QB play off that to often wide open targets? Thats a game manager day.   Bryce did his part as a game manager and hit the wide open dudes.

Rico with back to back 230+  yard games.  Rico has been the O.  Back to back dominant performances….with everyone reaping my the benefits of such.

The running game takes so much pressure off Bryce to play freely. This should be our identity.

Issue is the last 2 weeks it’s not a replicable gameplan vs the majority of the NFL.
