If he plays defense for the Bengals and his name isn't Trey Hendrickson he probably sucks.

Thats my 1st thought but looks like Bengals fans are torn on it. Anyway, a bunch of names will be tossed around the next 2 weeks.

I'm surprised some of y'all don't know Logan Wilson.  He's way better than what we have.

He's slowed down a tad in coverage after some injuries, but he was one of the few guys that's been aight on that defense and consistently.

That being said, don't think we should be buyers unless the price-is-right and the guy has more than a single contract potential.

Beat the Bills and I wonder if Tepper's patience starts wearing off smelling playoffs and he gets involved again.

If he has already forgotten how Wilks went run heavy in 2022 to become more competitive, and the hubris that spawned, we may as well just figuratively shoot ourselves.

edit: my hope would be if we do beat them with Andy playing it will be a different kind of reaction.

It's so funny because I made a post saying how the Panthers needed to get back to their roots of being a run first team and playing good run defense after they started 0-2 and here they are running the ball well and playing good run defense. I'd like to take full credit for the team's turnaround.

    • The Bucs have been struggling badly as of late so the Aints beating them doesn’t really say much about the Aints being any good. Even Shough (or however you spell it) wasn’t even good and the Bucs still beat themselves. We beat ourselves in the first matchup. If we can take down the Rams the Aints should be easy for us if we’re locked in and dialed in and guys don’t overlook them or assume it’ll be a gimme like last time. And need Bryce to not be absolutely awful like he was in the first matchup. But I do feel good about this game coming off the bye, I think we’ll finally get a convincing win with all 3 phases playing well (Atlanta blowout was good but the O really didn’t do much that game).    Hopefully we take care of business as we should and the Falcons can spoil the Bucs this Thursday so we can see what this team is made of at home in a couple weeks. I’m still very very far from sold on Canales/Morgan, despite the surprisingly solid year we’ve had so far. Bryce I am sold on not being the answer, but the more Canales can get out of him the more confidence I’ll have that he can help us develop a true franchise QB
    • Horn can't fall again, they need to stop the run and they have to keep Shough contained in the pocket. Simple
    • Technically, he wasn't in the league when the Ravens called, but for discussion's sake Iet's assume that he was. The Ravens thing wasn't exactly a negative either. It's all about perspective, empathy and really having an open mind---and an independent mind, not necessarily given into trite, good-boy-bad-boy narratives of an institution that has had problems of varying degrees on its own as a whole. As for Sanders' abilities during college or three games into his pro career, sure I've seen better, but I've seen a lot worse. In my estimation, he deserves an honest chance just like any kid that's drafted into the league. He may not get it, due to the nature of the beast, but it's not because he's been stinking up the field.
