QBs that would cost next to nothing and are better than anything we currently have.

You lost me after Jameis....

Jameis is the king of inexplicable int's .  He will look like the best QB in the league for 3 games and the worst the next 3.

I rather ride out the game manager Bryce Young and see where it takes us.

These have to be trolls. There is only maybe two guys on the list/extended list that are much more than lateral moves. It's downgrades everywhere.

I am starting to be convinced that Bryce has broken some Huddlers brains so thoroughly that they actually have no idea what a good QB is anymore.

A large chunk of the Huddle apparently is so starved for "deep passes" that they want to get blown out week in and week out as we lead the NFL in DTD's.

I think it’s less about deep passes and more about pushing the ball down the field in chunks but they just don’t know how to articulate it. Either way the list is horrible.

The only one I would even consider would be Mac Jones and that’s because he’s following a similar career arch as Darnold

His noodle arm impresses you? Lol

We are not getting a QB, if we move on, everyone is getting fired and they’re going to start from scratch

I don’t know why that would happen when the team around Bryce has been showing progress. But with the Tepper factor guess it is on the table.

Open up the field to motivate the other side to defend more of it. We are so constrained without the threat of a quick strike.

Because quarterbacks are at the center of everything, when you’re winning, your QB is playing well, when you’re losing, he’s playing poorly. As long as we play well, we’re not getting a new quarterback. The only way Bryce gets replaced is if the team completely falls apart and people start getting fired.

There’s no middle ground.

Darnold isn't an elite QB man c'mon

Darnold has an arm Bryce could never dream of having. Darnold also required a level of coaching that was not available to him during his time on the Panthers.

    • Our only hope is if "bad" Bryce is done for the season. "Serviceable to good" Bryce showed up for the end of last season. Let's hope that trend continues.
    • Always appreciate you, AL.  But it’s clear if you look at the initial post and the amount of poo reactions I got combined with all the decades old burns these troglodytes typed up, the vast majority of their objections are rooted in Shedeur and Deion hate.  I have seen a ton of “If Deion wasn’t his dad” arguments, but let me flip that - If Deion wasn’t his dad, and as a 5th round rookie, he just threw for 350+ yards and had 4 TDs, 99% of these guys would be interested in acquiring him.  I see why our fanbase is such a joke…  these the same folks who have spent 30 years hemming and hawing “well, there’s always next year,” or argued Chris Weinke should be starting over Jake through 2006, or we should’ve drafted Marcel Dareus over Cam.🤣🤣🤣🤣  They’re okay with mediocrity.  We finally have vaulted ourselves into contention in spite of the QB who has tried to play us out of it most games, and now they’re fat and happy and cool with the bare minimum from the QB position, so the cycle continues. Dont get me wrong, again, for the sake of this year I hope Bryce goes on a magical run, and against all odds, we win the Super Bowl.  But after the last 3 years, even if he does, we would be dumb to not still bring in competition to start at the QB position.
