A healthy scratch two weeks? I want him to succeed with us so bad. I need him to be our ricky proehl. Im hoping it's just his body getting back used to the pain.

Hes just not that good anymore, especially when we have so many young receivers to play.  His job is basically to be ready to play if someone gets hurt.  For the rest of the year hes an injury safety net.

Tape doesn't say that.   If Bryce could make easy throws......Renfrow is the 2nd most productive WR statistically to date and that would be WITH him sitting the last 2 games.

I got no problem sitting him as developing dudes matter more than anything and also he just flat out doesn't fit Dave's offense.  Renfrow is a slot WR but not in the sense Adam Theilen or Coker play WR out of the slot.  It's all about fit and Renfrow doesn't fit the scheme or QB.

But he probably is the 2nd best overall WR on the roster right now.  3rd when Coker gets back up to speed.

he gets absolutely blanked versus press and if the opening move doesn’t work he doesn’t run away from anyone.

id like to keep him on the roster to see if he gets back into game shape but it’s right to keep him a healthy scratch right now

He has very poor chemistry with Bryce. Bryce has been throwing him a lot of 50/50 balls that AT would routinely make but that is not Renfrow's game at all, so he hasn't been successful. Ironically, Renfrow does occasionally get open only to have Bryce throw elsewhere or miss the read.

Glad to have Renfrow as a decent 5th or 6th option but there is no reason not to keep playing Horn(adds a completely different element to the offense as a gadget player), Tremayne(physically large target and great run blocker) and Coker(does most of what Renfrow does but far larger and better as a run blocker).

If it were me personally, I'd probably put him ahead of XL on the WR depth chart but I completely understand why that doesn't happen.

Renfrow is really a 1 of 1 on the roster.   He isn't a natural fit for Dave's O or Bryce (given Bryce can't stand tall in the pocket and slice up folks with quick hitters).

Renfrow wanted to stay home and prove he could comeback.  He did it.  From a fit standpoint, Renfrow probably could be pretty dang solid somewhere....but he has zero interest in leaving the area again.  He doesn't look washed at all to me.  He looks like a horrible fit.  But I think he just really wanted to scratch the itch in his backyard one last time.

I don't think he is washed but he is a guy that can probably only fit in selected areas. He's always been a fairly limited player in some regards.

I am sure given injuries there would be ample interest for him, however.
