To add to his defense, PFF has him ranked #44 in the league and he is a #2 guy.  Since there are 32 teams, he should theoretically be behind all the #1 corners.  That puts him as the #12 best #2 corner in the league.

Absolutely amazing for a guy we traded Michael Barrett for.

I would bet my house he wouldn't get more than 30 yards on that return.

a) he's not that quick and b) if you look at the replay there were two Packers infront of him and the WR was right there next to him

He had at least 30+ yards of green grass and maybe a o lineman on that side of the field to stop him

He had to wait on the ball as it was a slow/softball type of pass.  He also would have to hesitate for just a split second to decide which way to go.  The WR might have gotten him, or the linemen might have slowed him down just enough for someone else to catch him.

That being said, he should have caught it, but I don't think its that big of a deal, especially since we won.

? Should be great, you should never have to cover their WR1 so you get to pad your stats. Except for the Dallas game for whatever reason he got Lamb almost every snap

Horn doesnt shadow. And QBs dont throw at him. So Mike Jack is fighting for his life every snap

Probably this.. he was thinking "holy crap, I can return this for a touchdown" then when the ball got to him he dropped it...

Honestly unless the Packers WR in the end zone was disqualified from tackling, he was literally right behind him ready to tackle him at the 5 yard line. Probably better he dropped it field position wise unless people think Mike Jack has Ted Ginn speed or something.

That's why he plays defense.

Unpopular opinion, but I think it worked out better that he didn't.  I don't think he would have made it that far, and that gave us more field to drain clock.

The Mike Jack slander around here is a bit crazy sometimes.  I have seen people claim he is not a starting caliber corner in this league.  That's just nuts.  He's solid.  Ease up.

Eh. I mean you gotta catch that. He knows it.

I don't think this is losing your job worthy. He just needs to fix the concentration.

Oh, no doubt he wanted to catch it.  You could tell immediately he was upset with himself.

I'm sure it is hard to capitalize on something like that when it happens so rarely.
