Nothing is absolute, but the fact is is that Bryce is the QB. He's the only one that touches the ball nearly every single play. The offense flows through him (or not). There are degrees to this, and shades of truth and fiction, and everything in between, as to why there is failure between he and any receiver not named Tetairoa. And even Tetairoa is unfortunately getting some undue blame if you look what's happening on social media.

You mean on X? If it isn’t the QB’s fault it has to be somebody’s, right?

This got Drew Carter picked in the 5th round.

In Carter's defense he basically equalled XL's first four years in final year. But yeah, if you're 6'3" and run sub-4.4 and have shown much of anything on a high major college football field somebody is gonna roll the dice on you. 5th was a reach but the 6th and 7th rounds are basically full of guys with either the measurables and lack of production or production and lack of measurables.

We picked a very raw WR in the first round. Some of your expectations here are wild.  Everyone should have known/realized he was going to be a work in progress. He has all the physical tools, now needs to learn the position.

I'm not ready to give up on him at this point.

Remember when it was said WR get 3 years before they really start to shine?

For a long time. They have backyarded NFL football to the point that athleticism rules over the traditional learning your craft in a lot of cases.
QBs come in and run around until they see a guy they can throw to. Or they just run it.

No, that’s been said about defensive ends. No WR should need three full seasons to learn his craft.

I wouldn’t call him the reason for that. That’s Dowdle and a defense that played within its constraints better than at any point in years.

Still you guys beat us in our stadium. We haven’t recovered since.

Yea that's where I am. It's hard to judge him when he's playing with a QB who can't really get him the ball consistently, but considering McMillian is already producing I wouldn't say it's a great sign for Legette.

Dont look at what TMAC IS producing look at what he could be producing if we had a QB who could get him the ball down the feild
