Forget trying to draft a QB in the early first round--it's stupid

I dont think people realize how hard it is to find a consistent starting QB in the NFL. Byrce will not heart us to a SB but I do think he can manage to get us one or close..go all in on defense and change the Offensive passing game and play calls. I really think our biggest problem is our HC.

Take New Orleans QB for example, switch him and Bryce and I promise you it'll look similar or worse. New Orleans OC is levels ahead of Canales.

And as far as the draft goes, in this division with as much rb talent as we face ..the answer...this guy:

Pick up a couple edge rushers in FA along with a corner and plug this guy in Rozeboom's spot. Defense solved. But only if we get a top tier rusher on that dline....jus saying

Thats my guy, kid is insane

As someone has already pointed out, there is a worry that Styles looks so good because he plays next to Arvel Reese.  It may not matter because i'm seeing mocks with Arvel Reese no. 1 and Style long gone by our pick.  We may need to focus on the ILB from UGA.

I would to see who the top 25 shake out before I say who they have a shot at. I usually have that already figured out by this time of year. But this year’s Panthers have somehow managed to make me forget about the draft because they are playing meaningful football. I didn’t see that coming.

I don’t want a QB in the 1st: I want one in the later rounds or in free agency. Just someone who will push Bryce, because we do not want a repeat of year 1, year 2, or year 3. Years where he gets off to a slow start

I contribute the slow starts to the fact he’s throwing to new WR’s each year

Bryce is a big timing/rhythm guy. Chemistry is everything which is why we see a big improvement in the second half. More of an improvement this season because of the rapport he has with Coker already

It’ll be interesting to watch Bryce Tmac and Coker all grow together over the next few years

    • Apparently CSW lost his starting job to Thornton last year. If he can stay healthy I bet Thornton keeps that NB position.
    • I member him staying after practices with only to see he was wearing heavy weight vest, one of his trademarks. He also put in 10 years, right? People forget he was the ST stud that called the snap and made sure everyone lined up right. He was one of the "glue" guys that bought his "lunch pail" to work.... He was a willing solider, all teams need a couple of them. He blocked for sooo many panthers RBs- Davis, lane, Williams, foster, goings and when there was huge injuries he took over the starter duties and had a couple 100 yard games. If you followed hoover, he took the perfect RB path cause he was just a slow heavy one himself....
    • Walker likely depends on a couple of things. What exactly did Dan promise him, to start with.  How much other interest he actually had for a starter job at high pay is another question. It isn’t outside the realm of possibility that he could stay on as a swing tackle waiting to take Moton’s spot when it opens.    I can’t get myself to consider Icky as a viable anything until we see him back on the field.     Hunt seems to be a team player and good guy but I don’t think he is worth what he is being paid. I have him tentatively earmarked for cap causality in the near future.
