Yup... now where's the guy who said it wasn't logical for me to expect Tmac to pull in 1k yards... ????

Now imagine how many yards he'd have if Bryce played every other game like this, let alone a full season.

I'm the biggest T-Mac fan there is, and I have no problem admitting that I was one of those people saying that in the offseason.

For me it was always the word "expect" that got me with that discussion.  Always said it was a legit possibility, but to "expect" it wasn't fair.  Especially for a rookie, even while it happens at a much more frequent rate these days, it's still a difficult thing for any rookie to hit that mark.

I also said that before we traded Thielen, and before Coker got hurt a day later.  Once those two things happened, I definitely shifted into thinking 1k was closer to an "expectation" than just being hopeful to see it.  Then really leaned into thinking it should happen once XL got hurt as well, at that point it almost got to where it would be a real disappointment if he didn't get there.

There’s always some fans that don’t like the pick. I mean some wanted a defensive player, but I think picking MacMillan was a shrewd draft choice. His upside was clear and our need for a true number one receiver was clear.

BPA, and it wasn't even close.

This is shaping up to be a nice draft

We got two big hits with Scourton and Tmac. Princely, Etienne, Ransom, Evans, and Horn have all contributed and looked solid for the most part.

the 2025 draft is probably the best one we've had since 2021 with  Horn, Christensen, Tremble, and Chubba.

For sure. This year's draft has been an A

Looking at it with only the 11 games - which is incomplete - you have to go back past 2021.

Yes we need another season to see it a bit clearer, but as of right now it looks like it’s slamming.

    • I did think about some of those games when typing that post.  Ugly but a different kind of ugly. We put up massive offense and then pulled a Falcons. Except we snatched the win away at the end.  Still, winning and it not being pretty is much better than losing. That team knew how to win. Mostly. But look who we had.
    • So true...look back at 2015 when we won 15 during the regular season and like half of those went down to the wire
    • Sounds like you’re just caping because I have already stated my intent when I posted.  Was it hyperbolic?  Sure.  But that’s what’s fun about this board.  I don’t need validation. I’ve been posting what I think, good or bad, for years.  In my everyday life, I speak my truth and stand on that.  I don’t care about validation, affirmation, or popularity.  I enjoy the discussion, good or bad. If you re-read, I didn’t say I’ve never seen a QB get stepped on.  I said I’ve never seen one, to the best of my memory, have that happen in that fashion on a 4th down and then lay there like the MedAlert lady.  And I said I brought up that play because again, how often do you see other QBs have that happen?  How often do you see QBs who are “super processors” decide to throw a ball out the back of an end zone on 4th and goal to go?  How often do you see them get squared up with a defender and fumble before even getting hit like a scared child?  He does poo that other QBs NEVER do.  Some have, but they don’t stick around for long.  The good ones NEVER do this poo.  And that’s the problem.  And again, yes, Zavala is a fuging chode and played his part in that play…  but I go back to Bryce and his limitations and this being an ongoing issue.  It’s like if it’s not him fuging up, someone will because Bryce is out there.
