Best of the offense

1. RT Taylor Moton: 78.8

2. LG Damien Lewis: 70.9

3. WR Jimmy Horn Jr.: 67.6

4. C Austin Corbett: 67.1

5. RG Jake Curhan: 66.9

Moton and Lewis combined to allow just one pressure over 34 opportunities.

Curhan, who played 26 snaps in place of an injured Chandler Zavala, earned decent marks in pass blocking (62.0) and run blocking (63.6)

Best of the defense

1. CB Jaycee Horn: 94.0

2. OLB Princely Umanmielen: 84.7

3. CB Mike Jackson: 79.2

4. OLB Trevis Gipson: 76.5

5. OLB Nic Scourton: 71.5

Horn posted the best overall grade of his career before exiting in the first half due to a concussion. He picked off 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy twice.

His 94.7 coverage grade is also a career-high

I'm done with Sanders. That wheel to Hubbard probably scores if he even attempts to block the corner

Bro wait until a real NFL QB is allowed to throw him passes, I still got hope for him.

That was a weird play. I assumed it was a designed swing pass to Chuba and he was supposed to block, but the dude ran straight to the endzone like he was running some kind of out breaking route

Who the hell ever gets a 94? Damn Jaycee.
Rico got like 77 for putting up well over 200 yards rushing.

Yeah I wonder if it was supposed to be a lateral and then Hubbard throws to Sanders that's the only thing that makes sense

    • Sure we'll be involved in talks but I can't see any scenario where we trade LaMelo, Kon or Brandon. And I can't see any scenario where we get another superstar without including 1 of those guys. Hence my use of the word "realistically" in that post.
    • Oh yeah the switching up the play calling is often the first punt. It usually isn’t a voluntary concession.    Except I think this is possibly more an honest self scout than pressure from the owner type of a thing. Is this a defensive move reeking of fear like it normally is, trying to placate an unhappy owner/fan base or a sincere attempt to improve the results? I am leaning sincere.   I say that because I get zero sense from Tepper that he is even one foot off the wagon. He seems to be very much on board, going by that McAfee interview. The average fans are the same. All bought in after making the playoffs.
    • Wow, I'm shocked. I wonder if they reviewed all the games and came to the conclusion of the play calls and the quarterback did not mix that well. Granted, I think I know which side carries the brunt of that blame, but it's just another step in the "Is Bryce our guy?" experience I suppose.  I do wonder how much this will free up Dave though as well and help Idzik grow and potentially get interview opportunities.
