I am completely expecting them to sign his 5th year option and he will start next year without any competition.

I'm preparing for the inevitability he is the starter next year. But no viable competition 4 years in a row would be next level disrespectful to the fanbase.

I think he would perform better if there was a person behind him who would take his job immediately if he keeps struggling. 
You would think, now, he would know his career is on the line. But he keeps playing like he will be here for the long term no matter how he plays.
