Easier Path

Recommended Posts

With Tampa losing to New Orleans today, an easier path opened up.

If Tampa loses to Atlanta Thursday night, and we beat the Saints next week, and Tampa the following week it is likely over. Even if Tampa wins the final two and we lose the final two.

This scenario would put us at 9-8, 1-1 head to head, but we would be 4-2 in the division to Tampa's 3-3.

Obviously, we don't want it to come to that and need to finish strong but that path did open today.

There's flur games left and the two teams vying for the division will play each other in two of them. The team that deserves to go will go. Both us and the Bucs completely control their own destiny with the way the schedule will play out.

I know, I was just bringing up a possible path. We win next two, bucs lose next two, its over.

There’s a good chance Bucs lose to both the Falcons and the Dolphins

Please don't do that. That's usually a recipe for coming out flat and rusty.

If it were the scenario ( and the Panthers never make anything this easy). I would play starters against Seattle because seeding isn’t set. If they were to beat Seattle you could play for better seeding against Tampa. But you could rest them for that game.

Now again, we never make anything this easy.
