Who will blow it Sunday?

They are 1 and 9 against the  Bucs in the past 10 games.

the Panthers go as young goes.  QB1 ‘s are suppose to dictate and overcome  and elevate Everything the QB does affects every part of the team and Bryce is uneven.

Canales and Bryce have  an uneven relationship too

as for Evero, the only thing that might save him is the injury to Baker’s left shoulder and oline injuries. I don’t even know how he is out there

I really feel their season ended last Sunday

Canales’ division record isn’t great   Getting owned by the Saints and Bucs isn’t a good look

Collective effort

Bucs have a top 10 run D so they should be able to focus in on and contain the run.  BY will have about 170 passing yards.  D will spend too much time on the field.  While Baker’s arm is in doubt, I think he makes enough plays over the middle and still gets one late over the top on us for a really big one to Evans as we get sort of fooled he is conserving his arm

I think it will be a pretty ugly offensive game for big chunks but the Bucs pull away late.

Panthers season is done. Just you wait until next year!

Dowdle will be gone. We will have a new 1st round threat at wr. We will have found a mid-round linebacker that has flashed during preseason. We will be patting ourselves on the back for finding some cheapo players on other teams' scrap heaps. And Young will be under a multi-year extension earning the big bucks for being a franchise qb.

It was halfway believable until that last sentence.

We just have to follow our script in wins of staying close and being down late and then either scoring a fluke TD/FG or hoping DB saves us...

Tampa is a bad matchup for us - their receivers know how to read zone coverages and we won't get any pressure on Baker the entire game. On the other end, their D isn't very good but they stop the run well.

Honestly think Bryce is going to have to ball out for us if we have any shot of winning. Based on past performances + our horrendous playcalling on offense, I say there is about a 5% chance of this happening

Bryce Young has never balled out in his career outside the city of Atlanta.  We should just trade him to Atlanta.

    • After listening to Morgan's presser twice, I came away with some key beliefs. First of all, I don't think he's a bullshitter. What you see is what you get. When he says something, he means it.  The Teppers really have evolved as owners. Morgan has mentioned how they're easy to work with--a pleasure to work with a few times now. There seems to be a good relationship between all of them (and include Dave Canales on that). We'll see if it lasts. Yes, no one wanted to come to Carolina with the previous management, but that seems to have changed. The team signed arguably the top Edge, LB and OT on the market, two of them on pretty good deals and one on what I'll say is "not a bad one." And, credit Sunshine Dave "Flowers and Cotton Candy" Canales for helping to change the culture. Morgan mentioned getting guys--and I'm paraphrasing--that are not only great football players but great people. Don't look for us to be acquiring any James Pearce types anytime soon, just saying. We'll see if that holds true in the future. Dan Morgan really has set up the Panthers to take the BPA/BAP. He mentioned it at least a couple of times, and he doesn't seem pressured to pinpoint a particular position. He just wants quality players that will help the team. This is how it's going to be (to your joy or dismay, probably for as long as he's here), and personally I love it. Many of us know how Morgan was when he played: aggressive! That's what he's going to be when making acquisitions. He explicitly said it, and emphasized it. All avenues are open (think FA, waivers...the draft)! Personally, as long as it's controlled aggression and not reckless aggression, I love it.  On KP: "Mobility is big in this league."  He basically says if another QB is the BPA while drafting--we're going by our board, people--we're going to add them.        ...
    • Canes are so fascinating. Despite inconsistent defense and poor goalie play they keep winning.
    • I like Morgan's approach but I'll wait for a few winning seasons before giving too much praise.
