No, and that was an issue we hadwith Rivera. We used to joke about making a list of all of the things Rivera learned too late.

I'm still cautiously optimistic about Canales at the moment, but we'll see.

I am very pessimistic. I genuinely view him as a bigger problem than Bryce and that is saying a lot.

Our TE group is young but they are comically either the highest of highs or the lowest of lows. Can't chalk all of it up to just lack of talent or busts. Whether it's Canales or Bryce Young or a combination of the two you don't just week to week month to month go from looking like you've got future studs at TE to complete duds. At some point your QB has to elevate these guys instead of them always saving his ass.

Wasn't there a thread a few weeks back saying from one of the beat reporters. Our offseason targets are to get better at TE, Pass rushing and Inside LB

I don't remember it specifically. I would imagine any "insider info" that far out is a little vague. More along the lines of ths rather obvious things we can see.

Hopefully the FO has a good idea of their attack plan as soon as the offseason cycle starts in a few weeks.

This front office screwed the pooch again in the '25 draft.  Tyler Warren was sitting there and would've been the perfect addition for a QB who can't push the ball down field and could've greatly used an intermediate route security blanket.

I don't even entertain this team getting a draft pick or free agent correct at this point.  Their drafts suck, and no decent free agent wants to live in Charlotte in their 20's, unless you wildly overpay for them.

We are stuck hoping our division continues to suck, and 8 or 9 wins every year is competitive.

TMac is a considerably better pick than Warren given positional value and given that TMac has been a OROY candidate and sometimes favorite.

I am more annoyed that we KEPT passing on TE's in the deepest TR draft in arguably the last decade.

TMac is a good player and would've been the right pick if our QB could throw a ball farther than 40 yards.

For this team's current build (run first, game management passing attack) and the fact that our TE's are laughably bad - the five on our roster have combined for less than 600 yards total, with 3 TDs - Warren should've been the pick.

I think you should see the OP for pretty big reasons why that is a completely incorrect take given this is a Dave Canales team.

I agree the coach should be replaced.  That's my whole point, he has zero clue how to maximize what his players / team are capable of executing, and putting pieces in place to help them accomplish those things.

Yes but that wouldn't result in a better player on our team. I don't disagree(although I completely disagree on Warren vs. TMac).
