Might Be the Best Rookie Class We've had in a Long Time

- Tetairoa McMillan, Nic Scourton are slam dunk picks. 

Princely, Mitchel Evans, Lathan Ransom, Trevor Etienne have all looked solid and shown flashes . 

Wow. Hell of a game sealing play by Ransom today, great perfomance by Tmac and Scourton. 

Only other draft class in recent memory that remotely compares is 2021 with Jaycee Horn, Brady Chrsistensen, Tommy Tremble, and Chubba Hubbard.

distant 3rd and 4th place, 2017 with CMC and Moton, 2013 with Star and Short.

As a franchise we RARELY have had drafts were we hit on more than 2 picks.

Absolutely a great class so far. Contributions all around, and very clear "wins" in the early rounds. Obviously we hope they keep this up, too, but it's nice not having to wait to see a player show flashes until 2nd or 3rd year.

If we can draft an A+ MLB and another very good defensive pass rusher, we will be in business next year.

One of the very key things is Mike Jackson has played so good, I don't think we need to waste a high round pick on a CB. We can use that for BPA pass rusher or MLB, hopefully.

This is undoubtedly true.  The kids have really performed well.  Almost all of them even the rdfa kicker has been a cold blooded killer.

Looks pretty good so far, but this is far too early to judge a draft class. The chances that all of those guy fall off though is probably pretty low.

TMac has a real shot to hit 1K yards this year, should have 8ish TDs. Amazing from him

Glad this class looks good cuz last year's looks horrible. The best player from that class was an undrafted rookie

concur on all.  I’ve been and still am really high on Princely, Ransom, and Etienne.  They all have special traits.  This whole class could end up being really good starter-level players for the next decade.  It’s damn impressive.
 

Until you said mentioned Motion was drafted in 2017, idk why it feels like he’s been here 15 years.

> The heist for Mike Jackson (7th round pick Michael Barrett to Seattle for Mike Jack)
> Getting Jalen Coker as a UDFA (Arguably our 2nd best WR and absolutely the best catcher on our team)
> Getting Ryan Fitzgerald as UDFA (who has made several clutch kicks this season and has played a huge role in us winning the most games since 2017). 

I'm on pins and needles waiting for him to get some legendary UDFA pass rusher next year . LOL.

Princely has done  a few good things but I still want more from him. I know it's hard for pass rushers to dominate in year 1 unless your name is Myles Garret, Julius Peppers, or someone of that caliber.  

That's why Scourton is impressing me so much. He's doing something impactful what feels like almost every game.

There's quite a few solid looking ones in this draft but nobody is really standing out besides Arvell Reese and Ruben Bain, they are probably going top 5 so we have no shot at them lol. Unless we trade up I guess.

But yes DM is not his best friend who is horrible at the GM position. He knows football and I have full confidence in him going forward.....
