Do Not Pick the 5th Year Option up on Bryce

I think we need to move on, period. Pull off the bandaid.

Get what we can for Bryce in a trade, draft a guy in the second or third, and sign two vets.

We'll almost certainly have better QB play and we'll get something for Bryce. Also it will be funny to see the "clutch GWD Bryce" and "but he leads the league in big time throws" crowd learn his true value when not only do we not get multiple first round picks in return, we get like a 2027 fifth.

The overreactions continue. Dude had literally no time all game against the second best defense in the league. Let’s just trade him for an 7th and pick up any random qb cause they HAVE to perform better than Bryce! Wait, how did Andy…never mind.

He pulled us to within a touchdown and the penalty pretty much ended any chance we had in the game. Charbonnet ran all over us start to finish. Legette needs to be cut from the team, how many offsides calls on a WR have you ever seen? Dude has no brain.

Dude, you realize the Seahawks ran prevent D that drive, right? As in they only rushed 3 and dropped 8 into deep coverage.

Nothing about that drive, outside of maybe the TD run, was anything a random schmuck from the stands couldn't do

I guess Bryce having success equals prevent defense.

I’ve never seen such wild swings game to game as I have seen this year especially in this forum. this is the first time in almost a decade our games are relevant this late in the season and it shows. We all want to make the playoffs but let’s not raise the pitchforks and blame every loss on a single player.

14/24 for 54 yards and a INT......

If you think that's a NFL QB caliber stat line go suck on a knob cuz it's not.

I saw the limitations of Bryce coming out of college, and over 3 seasons he has proven them all correct. I only saw one way for Bryce to succeed and that was for him to figure out how to make his scramble and accurate passing on the run to consistently be a threat. I have only seen rare flashes that will not outweigh his weaknesses.

I was definitely concerned for him being knocked out of games if he were to try to get out of the pocket to extend plays with no concern for his blindside. He has shown enough awareness to calm this concern, but if he can't be consistent in extending plays with his necessary play style, then he's only a journeyman backup at the NFL level.

Did you honestly watch that drive? They rushed 3/4 just about every play and we either ran the ball or ran designed swing passes. It took us like 8 minutes to shore that TD...
