do you ... not realize what this game was?

Ellipses for effect. Nice. Yes. It was the final game of the regular season and a "win, you're in" game for the playoffs.

You do realize... There are more facets to the game than the QB... Right? Especially on a team that has been DREADFUL for 5+ seasons?

The stupid part about you folks that wanna hate on Bryce is that he is serviceable. Go back and watch film. Dave doesn’t do him any favors. Do I believe for certain Bryce is the answer hell naw, but should we hold the year 5 until we can find a replacement or at least competition yes.

the coaching has left my head scratching all year long. Every situation where we are forced to be aggressive it has panned out for the most part. Hence Bryce leading the league in game winning drives.

the problem is the coach waits until last minute to try and push the issue. And all game long Bryce is left with nothing but short yardage dump passes bc Dave is to scared to take a shot.

16 passes all season long completed past 15 yards. That’s a scheme problem. I’d venture to say the attempts or even the schemes were even more alarming.

the jury is still out on Bryce for now IMO. Is he a world beater naw, but he showed progression this season. You know who didn’t?

dave Canales and ejiro evero.

It has been 3 fuging seasons. The jury is not out. The fact people like you want to keep extending Bryce's leash make be wonder how low IQ some football fans are. Bryce's ceiling had been reached. He is not going to be a franchise QB. He will be out of the league soon after the Panthers boot his ass.

Yes. Tampa sold out on stopping the run game and dared us to beat them with Bryce. Same thing Seattle did. Same thing NO did. The offense is built around Bryce and smart defensive coordinators aren't scared of him at all.

Jury is still out.   Interesting

It will be year 5. We miss the playoffs again and the offense is still terrible and the jury will be still out on Bryce. Never have I seen as long of a leash for a bad player as I have seen for Bryce.

Bryce was 24/35 for 266 yards with 2 picks and 1 int. He threw threw for more yards than Baker and more touchdowns, and had a higher QB rating.

Our running backs combined for 20 yards.

Who was the problem?

Bro, we don’t need to see eye to eye on everything and I come from a place of respect, but are we gonna trot out final stat lines like he didn’t get 150 of those yards when the game was over? He needs to have games where he has 50 passing yards EACH DRIVE, not 10, 7, 0, 0, 7, 8, 50, 70, 80.

Don’t disagree there one bit, but calling him one of the worst players in history when he was one of the better performers on this sorry lineup today is literally retarded.

he is the worst qb in franchise history

Jimmy was a 2nd round pick not the 1st overall. Expectations are different. If Bryce had been held to the same standards as Jimmy, this would have been over halfway into year 1.

Expectations are fine but draft position does not mean that player can do any of those thingss you are expecting. That becomes irrelevant to his teammates the first time he steps into the locker room. Young is what he is. We are stuck with him for a few more years if you believe the rumors. I'm trying to decide if I am going to tune in next season.

    • I feel the same way. Bryce hasn't proven himself to be so good that he would clearly lap anyone that we'd bring in the compete for the starting job. I think the team is actually afraid to do that. If Bryce goes down does anyone think Kenny Pickett is solid option to replace him?. We can control him for 2026 and 2027. The problem is 2028. Unless he takes a massive leap forward ability wise, I don't see how Carolina can justify paying B.Y. $50 million a year. So far, Bryce has not shown that he can CONSISTENTLY carry a team. He needs to be carried by a strong offensive line, running game, pass catchers and a respectable defense. If he's lacking any of those things I don't think we can make the playoffs in 2026/2027 unless the NFC South is as bad (or worse) than 2025. Unfortunately, athletes and agents have EGOs! When he has a chance for a 2nd contract his management team will probably insist on a "market deal" and feel insulted if they don't get one. That leaves a couple of options if his play hasn't significantly improved. 1) Let him walk and test the market. 2) Franchise him for the 2028 season if you're still not sure about what to do. 3) Extend him to a team friendly deal that pays him below the "current market" which would allow the team to continue to build a solid team to support him. 4) Over pay him and pretty much ruin any chance of becoming a consistent contender. The last option is the LEAST DESIRABLE ONE. The 2026 season is a pivotal season for Bryce and the Carolina Panthers. The success of the next 5-7 years could ultimately be decided on how well plays the next 2 seasons.
    • Thank god BigKat can't buy it because I'd be gone immediately
    • Drake Maye ended up putting almost 300 on them lol. Bryce was stunned from the beginning to end. I know that's an easy comp for the Bryce truthers but no one else put up those puny QB stats against them all season long.
