Carolina needs some new blood in the QB room.  We got Bryce for another year, Dalton for now, nothing behind him.  Green definately has potential and at 6-6 224, definately has a Pro QB frame. Projected in rounds 4-6.

My ears are up. Listening. Bryce is pretty much the anti proto, and I like the prototypes. if you are gonna fail at least look good doing it.

My realistic, later-round crush is Mateer.  Had a bad season, but his skill set is there.  I am also intrigued by the Jim McMahon of this century, the QB from Vandy.  I am too lazy to look his name up, but he is a controversial, scrappy dude.

Pavia? He’s Manziel off the field without Manziel on the field. Do like Mateer. I think Nussmier could be our pick if he’s there with one of our 4ths

Hey, what can it really hurt to look? If we were willing to look at Bryce in terms of the 1.1, anything anywhere in any round should be fair game.

      Any idea what happened to him at LSU? im reading that he was considered a 1st round pick in 2023, had an off 2024 season with only 4 sacks but was also on a horrible FSU team then went to LSU where he was supposed to be on an aggressive defense that should have given him a lot of sacks but he only ended up with one….   was he injured? Did the top SEC competition expose him? What happened? Cause this guy was considered a top prospect .

      Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.

      Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
