I agree. Put him on the block officially and see what you can get. If it's a conditional 6th or 7th, fine. 

I think it would be best for him to be traded a considerable distance from this area and likely the South so that he can try to focus on football for a chance.

IDK how we go from good player for good player trade suggestions to dumpster fire bust for dumpster fire bust trade suggestions.

Even though Coleman is better, he has a littany of motivation and discipline issues. Do we think milquetoast Dave is gonna fix that??

I'd honestly rather just trade XL for a late round pick than acquire someone else's problem child.

I wouldn't do this. XL had a bad year but he showed a lot of promise as a rookie for a guy we KNEW was going to take some time to develop 

You can hate the pick if you want but now that we've got XL I would give him one more season to see if he can round into a contributor. 

Coleman has always struck me as a guy that was not going to put the work in to be great. might be wrong but that's my gut read on him.

The real problem is XL is where we drafted him. If we had taken him mid second round I think the outrage surrounding him would be far less. Not his fault they traded up (one spot) to make him a first round pick

I am with you. Give XL an offseason and a camp to respond. He may not be a 1st round level contributor but may be able to contribute to the team in a lesser role.  

If someone calls and offers a 3rd I would do it but if it is a day three thing I’d rather roll the dice on him for now.

I bet he didn’t see this coming until it about just hit him.  He isn’t that quick, unfortunately. Let him get his head around it and see what happens.

At this stage, we know who are X and Z receivers are. Trading XL for anyone else who doesn't operate primarily out of the slot doesn't make any sense. At this point, just move XL and stick him in the Y Slot and see what he can do.
