I feel these playoffs have already proven that points are the premium. Didn't like that call, I thought they also got a bad spot

I thought the spot was questionable, but maybe it was more accurate than what was on tv since there was no challenge.

That was a hell of a sack. Man I wish we had a real pass rush

You have to keep throwing darts until you get enough hits at pass rusher.

Obviously, what would help us the most would be trying to draft 1 in R1 or trading /signing a big name in free agency. We've been drafting offense in R1 for 4 out of the past 5 years, and getting role players as FA pass rushers.

It's not really rocket science why we have a lack of pass rush. The Panthers simply haven't made it a priority over other positions. They've been mostly  focusing on building a good offense around Bryce.

Getting Scourton and Princely in R2 and R3 last year was a good start, but most pass rushers outside of R1 selections usually take years to develop into consistent threats.

Falcons spent 2 first rounders on edge last year and basically solved their pass rush in one off season. It can be done. We could easily sign Trey Hendrickson and draft Cassius Howell/TJ Parker/Keldrick Faulk.

Hit on one of those two and pair them with Scourton and you probably have a good pass rush. Hit on 2 of them and you have a great pass rush.

I think Dan Morgan is well aware that our team's biggest weaknesses are interior LB and pass rusher. He'll probably make those two positions a priority this off season, also getting  a serviceable  LT to replace Ickey with depending on the severity of his injury/return timetable.
