No extension, just a move for this year. Hornets not done yet.

I like the Coby White addition. Little younger, local guy, and think he *maybe* has more potential than Sexton. 

Also who knows, maybe Sexton had said he wouldn't re-sign here, whereas Coby may.

I did want White as a Duke fan the year he came out.  I am just interested to see how he fits in with the team and hopefully he does it quickly

I don’t get it. Sexton for White is a more or less lateral move, then we add a lottery prospect in Dieng and picks on top? I actually like that trade to acquire Dieng. What a waste.

Rumblings are they are reluctant to trade him but they also have luxury cap problems to resolve, and it sounds like he's getting interest from a few teams.

Well these 2nd rounders aren't that big of a deal if true. I think it's an upgrade if you use him as an actual 6th man and if you think he's a better starter if Ball is out with injury. Plus he's an NC guy, maybe get some more hype in the stands.

Sexton was almost -5 offense and White is +4. It's a pretty big upgrade actually for this season, which is all the Hornets care about with this trade.

But wasn’t Coby starting? Will be interesting to see if the +/- drops coming off the bench.
