They were heavily involved in talks with Milwaukee for Giannis. Don't think they end up making the deal because Milwaukee wants a high end prospect, other good players plus picks back.

Trading from the core 3 for an aging vet would be a big mistake. I'm assuming any deal for giannis the bucks would want Kon. Hard no for me

HUGE difference when you get Miles and Moose back…add Coby as your #2 PG, move Kalk to #2 C, Sion, Grant Williams, and Josh Gordon all on your #2 squad.

I’m even high on Salaun, PJ Hall, and Tre Mann…but as THIRD teamers that’s what’s up.

Team is so fun when they turn it on.  Brandon was trying to troll us last night with all the turnovers but we still turned it on.  Colby brings that energy to the floor that was missing when Melo was resting so that's nice.  Also those two can play together.  Please no more Sion at the point because it kills momentum (unless game is a blow out of course).  Kon plays like the most mature rookie I've seen.  Makes vet moves.  And he's just so consistent to balance out Melo and Miller when they are having off nights.

Overall the team is just fun and plays hard.  Grant and Green really stepped it up the last few weeks too.  I was impressed by PJ Hall the previous four games as well.  You can tell the team really feels like they can beat anyone, any night.

Sure we'll be involved in talks but I can't see any scenario where we trade LaMelo, Kon or Brandon. And I can't see any scenario where we get another superstar without including 1 of those guys. Hence my use of the word "realistically" in that post.

Also, when these starters play physical defense and turn that into transition offense, this team is downright scary.

Yeah people doing the stat comparison to Sexton, I think Coby looks like a big upgrade and he's just getting his feet wet. I don't care about personal stats, he just moves the ball well and can drive to the basket and spread out of the floor a way that our bench couldn't do previously.

      Hello there.  We are rolling out a complete overhaul of the Huddle. Why: Frankly this site is so old the database and antiquated software has gotten unmanageable. There is not much we can do to fix anything anymore. The new site is wired for the future including getting back in the app stores.    When:  Hopefully by early July so that we can test and recover things. After the migrations we will still have access to the old site behind the scenes to bring over anything we missed.    Wait, will I lose anything?  We are only bringing over topics and posts from the past calendar year. The tinderbox is being set on fire and rolled off a cliff. All it ever did was made this place feel horrible all while changing approximately 0 minds in 20 years.  The new site will only have 4 forums to keep this joint Carolina team sports focused. Panthers, Hornets, Charlotte FC, Hurricanes.    Improved Moderation  This is a clean slate for us, as such if you are a problematic member (you know who you are) that enjoys getting banned and coming back, we aim to make it much more difficult for you. However, upon the move your slate is clean. Take advantage of it.  We would love to get this place back to what it used to be. Nice folks with friendly banter centered around Carolina sports. We will be using the BAN HAMMER liberally to rid this place of people who aren't interested in that or try to drag the new site back into the gutter.   New Features With new tech comes new features we will be rolling out over the rest of the year.    What about the damn ads?  Fewer and less problematic ads. Again, new tech allows for this. Without ads this place gets shut down.    What if I can't login?  If you can't login due to not being able to reset your password from the login screen, email [email protected] with your username and we will get you squared away.    Let me know if you have any specific questions.
