You're being a bit hard on him here bro. He drives plenty but he uses it to draw defenses and assist/lob more often than not and it's working. It's not a fluke that so much of the team is shooting well. The game revolves around LaMelo and he's feeding them. We also have a lot of guys who are good at driving to the basket so we don't need him to be Derrick Rose out there.

You may have a point with the three chucking but it's too early to call that a huge problem. This is the best the team has looked since Shinn left town.

I don't think it's at all a given that we have players who are good at driving the basket. I guess that depends on your definition.

Bridges is 43rd in attempts in the paint Miller is 64th and LaMelo is 66th.

We all love to see the lob threat but it's largely miniscule at this point in time. There's gotta be a solution here if LaMelo is to be the centerpiece because this is simply not sustainable if we want to continue to ascend. If he can't drive to the basket then that means we need to add another player to the core who consistently can. That would require moving someone like Miles Bridges. And that's certainly not going to be popular with LaMelo but something has to give here for what we are investing and we need to maximize guys like Miller and Knueppel on rookie deals while we still can.

The three chucking is fine when it's working where the issue comes into play is there are no adjustments when it isn't and we just go into a shell and begin to look like the Hornets of yesteryear. That's why the offensive evolution of all involved is critical to us taking the next step. Getting to the play in is nice but we should have our sights set much higher.

Right now though they need to take care of business against the Heat. All I ask is that they at least beat those fools. I cannot stand the Heat.

Can someone explain why the 7 and 9 get home court?

Seems like 10 should play at 7…and 9 play at 8.

(Not that I’m complaining)

The winner of 7/8 advance to the playoffs and the winner of 9/10 then plays the loser of 7/8 to grab the final playoff spot.

I fugin hate the heat. We better beat that team

Id get banned if I go on my cussing out post for those scummy heat.

They owe the hornets and them crying about rozier to the commish, such a loser move....

I want a 27 point victory with moving to the next team, I think with Ball on his game, they can give any east team all they want...

Ball moved up in my book this year and he is the clear #1 on the roster. I did not think that at the start, he's grown with me. Now lets see how he handles the playoff pressure, cause its a different game now......plus team have already give him some physical defense......is he going to cry to refs while the ball is being moved to the other side or is he going to wait until a break before he talks to ref.

He's the key to how far this team goes, lets see how he's got...
