That's some pretty deep personal poo shared openly. It's very rare that men actually talk about what's going on inside. A lot of that resonates very loudly and clearly.

I only got to listen to the first 5 minutes or so but about to put it on on the ride home. Have to admit, Smitty ain't my favorite person these days but I'm interested to hear them hash out their ish. Pretty wild they hadn't spoken to each other in a decade.

That was 25 minutes of nothing and seems like a BetterHelp ad more than anything.

Literally saw it running as an ad on Tiktok the other day and didn't realize there was a full video

The one thing I did pick up on was Smitty wanted out the day Cam was drafted. He requested a trade. Sound like 3 years later, the situation was the same. So at the end of the day, while everyone thinks Gman did him wrong, and the way he was released may have been,  he may have also been doing exactly what Smitty asking for.

If that's how it went down then I've lost what relatively minimal semblance of respect I had for him as a highly notable player in franchise history.

Because that whole situation is what led to him being so outrageously abrasive toward the team and specifically led to the "blood and guts" game in which he went out of his way above and beyond to portray himself as someone who was discarded like trash in the street in a callous manner by the team that drafted him while gleefully embarrassing us. When in reality it was he who wanted out from the jump in the midst of us drafting two of the greatest players in franchise history in consecutive years in Newton and Kuechly. We probably win the Super Bowl if he had kept his head together. I can't look at the guy the same anymore if this is true. Unconscionable selfishness. Stay a Raven.
