Pittman + 7th for XL and a 5th?

Would definitely help our WR room.  Not sure if we want to take on the 20m salary.  Plus if they are desperate for cap relief, they might end up cutting him.

Would do this in a heartbeat, but no chance they would do this.

If we got to pay him $20M I probably wouldn’t. I’d pay him but he’d basically have to come for free from them, maybe a 7th. I think we can get a 5th for XL elsewhere

I feel like we've already got our Pitman types id rather Pierce but hes gonna be expensive

I think we should just play the waiting game and see who is released.  There are going to be some good WRs released.  I am reluctant to give up any draft picks though a 5th rounder isn't too bad.

I don’t think paying out 20mil gets us 20mil of production back Shari g balls with the two we already have and the QB we have throwing to them. 
 

I am trying to picture Legette outside of the Carolinas. Lol.

I'd rather just release XL straight up than give another WR 20 million to be the 3rd WR.

No, a lot of y'all gave Bryce all the rope in the world as a #1 overall pick that we traded the farm for that didn't meet or even come CLOSE to expectations for roughly 2 and a half years into his career.

Then wanna give up on a receiver thats going into year 3 with plenty room to grow on a rookie contract...

XL made mistakes, but Bryce missed him a good bit throughout the year as well.

We have much more urgent needs to use $20 million of cap space on than a WR who doesn't bring any new skill sets into the WR room.

If Coker didn't have his late season breakout, then I'd be more open to considering it, but what we need is a complementary WR to him and T-Mac, a shifty speed guy, not another big body.

If it were an ultimatum, one or the other? I would agree. We have 2 good WRs who are in their prime growing phase. And between the two we won’t be paying 10 mil per season. fug giving some guy 20 million.

Plus we have a QB that really has only fed these guys targets a few times. Where is the benefit that comes close to the cost?
Plus I don’t want to release XL.

No need for this. Colts will absolutely cut Pittman and use that money to attempted to re-sign their other younger, better WR Alec Pierce

Even if he's cut, he's not someone we should be targeting.

T-Mac is already better than him, and while sure, he might be a slight upgrade at this moment over Coker as a #2, I'm really not sure he would be by the end of the season if Coker improves this offseason like we hope.

We need a Tyreek Hill type who isn't Tyreek Hill, not a lesser version of T-Mac.

Honestly, outside chance the answer is on the roster and it ends up being Horn Jr, I still don't know why he wasn't getting more snaps this year, he seems like he's oozing potential in the exact role we're needing to complement T-Mac and Coker.

Yeah you don’t need to be spending 20 mil on a wr when you already have a legit #1, legit #2, and potentially legit #3/slot guy. Especially a team that has glaring needs at pass rush and possibly LT.

If we move XL in a WR for WR trade I'd prefer to trade him for more of a classic slot WR. That's what this WR corps lacks. I like T-Mac and Coker on the outside. Now we need that shifty guy who can get open immediately and create separation in short areas.
