Teams we are better than in regards to the wr room without a doubt and there are other teams you could easily debate

Ravens

Pats

bills

miami

pats

jets

ravens

browns

jags (debatable for sure)

titans

Chiefs

Raiders

Giants (debatable)

Saints

Skins

How in the world do you think that the Jags are worse than us when they have one of the better receiving corps in the league? They certainly are NOT debatable, and neither are the Giants or the Bills or even really the Chiefs.

Thomas Jr didnt even have 50 catches last year, washington had 58.  Best in league my ass. Nabors is coming off injury and LOL if you think Slayton is any good

its comical how you are downplaying how good Tmac is and the potential of Coker

Let's be honest here. We have one WR on this team that would be in the top 3 of ANY other team. And he was a rookie last year. I love Coker but he is an often injured UDFA. He wouldn't have even gotten a chance on other teams. The rookie injury would have bounced him around the league for the next 5 years until he stopped trying to make a roster. It's a numbers game for most teams and he would have (at best) been on some team's practice squad. But Carolina has been so devoid of talent at the position, that we didn't have much of a choice.

Bryce leaves a lot of questions but to say he hasn't elevated anyone isn't true. No WR has left Carolina since he's started and did better on another team. Not one. And there are several to choose from. Coincidence? Maybe. Probably not.

I'm not saying adding playmakers is a bad thing and it does make sense in many respects. However, to say we need improvement from our playmakers and completely ignore the central playmaker is crazy. We don't know the level of playmakers we have because we don't have a QB capable of those types of play on a regular basis.

A lot of people love to bash on XL for needing to work on his game because he's not putting in the effort to get better. He's following the example set by his QB that refuses to work on his atrocious footwork. We crucify one and ignore the other. It doesn't make sense.

If we're going to be serious about adding weapons then let's be serious. Signing Kenny Pickett to back up Bryce doesn't signify we are committed to improving the offense. That move, and this idea Bryce needs more weapons, shows we aren't actually serious. You can't committ to a QB that has been one of the worst in the NFL the past 3 years and then claim you're serious about improving the offense.

I mean, in theory Bryce could get over the hump. That aside, you have to know that due to the situation we are going to give him another year. From some perspectives, it just makes sense. I'm not saying that I agree or disagree with it, but it's not like the draft is chock full of franchise QBs. I'm thinking that only one, the consensus top pick, is destined to be the only one in this draft (and some people don't believe in him). All we can do is sure up the room with an FA (Pickett) and take a swing or two and hope (maybe the dawg Pavia). 2027 should bring better options if it comes to that.

Laughing at Slayton (Mooney or Calvin Austin III), but telling me that Coker is the next best thing since sliced bread...You laughing at Theo Johnson in reference to our guys too? LOL

No one in their right mind thinks Nabers is anything but a stud (definitely top 10 if not 5 potential). You do realize that Thomas was in a new system with a furst-time coach last year (with a questionable QB to boot)? And yet still, it's possible that he eclipses even T-mac (not saying that he will). They didn't even mention Travis Hunter.

In any event, we're not in the top half. Draft another legit receiver, and we will be.

He isn't neglecting the defense. How much money have we spent on free agents during his tenure? We've drafted a few days two people as well (not to mention day 3) since he's taken the helm. To say he's neglected the defense makes little sense.

Right! the defense is stacked and literally one LB away from being one of the best defenses in the league. The talent is there and Im a firm believer that you build in the trenches. I believe the best way you help Bryce out is giving him time and that means get a OT.

You missed out the part where Coker was given an opportunity due to the lack of talent on our team and grasped it with both hands.

He's clearly a very good WR.

The defence is not stacked.

They set themselves up to have options. Im not sure why people think they have pre determined anything.

You know full well that the first round creates its own course by the time the top 10 picks are made. Dan is prepared to ride this first round completely irregardless the path it ends up taking.
