You're goalie isn't going to stop many 1v1 breakaways against top 20 players like Marner. Just not going to happen and if you expect that, you've got unrealistic expectations for goalie.

They've all been breakaways or high danger chances from the slot. Save percentage on those particular shots is going to be low. (Not defending Freddie at all here, just pointing out that the defense has sucked)

No it's not because I'm not defending Freddie... it's a fact. Top players in the NHL score around 45-55% of the time on breakaways. Lol

No, I understand completely.  They are fuging him over - but there’s something to be said when your goalie can at least stop some of them or get a pad on them - I feel like that builds momentum symbiotically with your skaters.  But when every attempt in such situations has like a 98% chance of going in, it is completely demoralizing, and as we are watching, that poo compounds quickly.
