Many people on this forum thinks JR wants to force a lockout. My question is, if this is the case, do you sign Shockey to a 1 year contract if you think there will be a lockout?

here's the real question: who here really has a fuging clue?

That is silly to say that JR wants a lock out. He just wants a good deal like every other owner for the next 20 years. If that means a lock out then so be it. He and every owner make more money if they have a new CBA signed and there is no lock out. These conspiracy theories that JR wants a lock out so we can get Luck is crazy.

    • I have a very hard time believing any of these types of rumors this time of year. We're in peak lying season. LOL
    • A ruptured patellar tendon offers worse odds than an ACL. The fact is, no one knows his potential to return to form. It's certainly too early to know anything, especially from a fan's viewpoint. I hope he returns, but the fact is is that only around 50-55 percent of NFL players across all positions return at all from this injury according to Google AI, and roughly 22 percent of them return to their previous level of play after two years. For O-lineman it's likely even less considering their weight and movement requirements for the job. I truly hope for the best, but we can't count on him returning, much less returning to form. I tell you all this in order to inform you of the seriousness of the situation.
