Sorry to break it to ya, but patron is trash.

Has one of the worst acitic bites of that level of tequila.

Anybody who thinks patron is smooth, is just ignorant.

Now ill admit, there are people wo like that bite in their tequila. That's fine, but they are still wasting their money.

Patron has many things going against it. The fact they use immature agave plants hurt. The fact it is so mass produced, that they don't care to skim the heads and tails off the batches between distilling runs, also hurts.

Joe public doesn't know jack about the majority of th alchy they drink. If they haven't heard of it, it can't be good. That is their first mistake. They believe the propaganda rather then finding out for themselves.

What the heck!

Are you the janitor at the Patron plant too???

Don't understand. Is this assuming a judge forces an agreement on a new CBA before the draft? Why wouldn't the new CBA include a provision continuing the agreement between both sides that a 2011 draft would be held?

No idea... he went on how teams would lay off their scouts, training staff, and etc to save money.

? can the players go out and get jobs in one of the minor leagues (UFL, CFL, and Arena? I guess there technically under contract (some of them) but if there getting locked out... Sucks for them but they should have prepared for a year without a paycheck (I know some couldn't but most could). This is why the owners will win they have enough money backing them to weather the storm most players do not.

The players can go stick it...the NFL is doing nothing now but losing their fan base...the owners have their bank vaults locked...if the players don't want to play, fine...there are kids coming out of college every day that do.

Sometimes you just have to sacrifice things to move on and it looks like the 2011 season will be the alter.

When talking about taste, what's "good" is personal preference dude. I don't care how well some other tequila is made or how rare the agave plant it comes from is. Patron tastes great, is incredibly smooth, and requires no lime, salt, or chaser. Sam Adams is a meticulously crafted beer, and it tastes like poo.

It's all a personal preference man.

You are correct. It is about personal taste. I don't like an acidic bite in my premium tequila. You obviously do. More power to ya. The fact is patron may seem smooth to you, but when compared to better tequilas, it is rough. I've tasted more tequila than you ever will. Considering I work in the industry, I taste everything straight at room temp cause knowing the quality of the product is very important.

You may not think how a product is made is important, but when ya taste the differences yourself, you'd have a much better understanding. Patron silver isn't even ranked in the top 10 in the world. The gran patron platinum, which is $177 in the texas market, is only rated #9. It also still has an acitic bite to it.

You say you like smoothness, I promise you that it gets much better than patron.

This doesn't even mention anejo tequila's, which are my favorite.

The expiring CBA covers the 2011 draft so it should happen regardless.
