Jordan Gross is the Panthers candidate for the Madden 12 cover...

I ask that we put Jimmy Clausen on the cover. That way we can finally break the "Madden curse". Jimmy had such a bad year last year, maybe that could cause a cosmo butterfly effect where it will reverse the equilibrium in the football universe and turn something bad until something great....yeeh..that will work.....*walks away from thread with an side eye*

also not really relevant but I wish EA would spend less time thinking of new ways to make a cover and more time improving their game. this might be the first year I don't buy the new copy of Madden if they don't make major improvements.

For those that care, Madden is having a bracket-style contents to pick the next cover athlete. All 32 teams have a candidate and Jordan Gross was selected as our candidate...

This tells you everything you need to know about the state of the Panthers.

He's safe, non-controversial, and overrated. Our perfect representative.

    • If Henderson just got a concussion and will possibly/probably now miss next week as well, gotta think missing 2 games of stats at this point of the year might knock him out as he was only just entering the discussion the last few weeks anyways.  Same goes for Judkins going down today too, and Dart's god awful game likely removes him from the conversation as well. It will be interesting to see how the voters compare T-Mac and Egbuka if they end up with stats that are nearly identical. Egbuka burst onto the scene and put up the bulk of his stats early in the year when Baker was playing like the MVP front runner.  While T-Mac was just more consistent throughout the course of the full season (ex. Egbuka has 8 games of 42 yards or less, T-Mac has 4 of them, while T-Mac still scored 3 TDs in those 4 games, where Egbuka only scored 1 TD in his 8). It would be a shame if they put too much weight on the final game of the season if that ends up being the division decider, as I think T-Mac has had the better SEASON while Egbuka had a better peak output during that first month or so but way cooled off since. Maybe Warren goes off in the last 3 games (they still play tomorrow), but it does seem to be down to T-Mac and Egbuka right now.
    • Mitchell Evan’s put a block on someone that he drove them all the way out of bounds and to the bench. He absolutely destroyed the guy. He’s gonna be a beast for us if he keeps that up.
    • Yall... stop taking a sample size and projecting a role player into a permanent starter cuz he had a decent year after what, 5? Come on
