Gruden vs King

Simms (because IMO Simms was nothing until late in his career after he'd been with Parcells for a bit) and Bledsoe I think... could be wrong tho.

He didn't draft Simms (and benched him abd only reinstated him bc he was almost fired over it), he passed on Ryan, and you guys told me just a few days ago that Bledsoe stunk.

1) Bledsoe was replaced time and time again, but early in his career people thought he was the future in New England and he did play pretty well. I don't think I ever said he was bad early on or that he developed poorly etc... but others may have.

2) Simms' first good season came under Parcells. While he undoubtedly did little to develop the quarterback while he was DC etc, it is very possible that his benching is part of why Simms turned the corner. Who knows. Either way, Simms' best years came under Parcells and while 4 years isn't exactly a new player it is still a point at which he could have helped in his development.

The why shouldn't Gruden be given similar consideration for Gannon's MVP and 4 straight Pro Bowl runs under Gruden??

He undoubtedly did help Gannon's development. Don't think I ever said Gruden *never* developed anyone, just never developed any rookies (not even sure i've said that here)... You're the one that said Parcells didn't develop anyone "either", implying Gruden didn't.

I actually disputed your statement, I didn't agree with it =P

As mentioned elsewhere, tomorrow's schedule is Gabbert and...Fairley?

Wonder if there's a chance he brings in a guest like Warren Sapp or Monte Kiffin on Fairley's show.

(they'd certainly have to be better than John Daly sitting there looking like Gollum while trying to equate golf shots to football passes)

So the day after the QB camp with Newton special aired there are articles about grudens QB credibility. Where was this article last year? You just so happened to be the one to find it,lol. Youre the best at finding things the somehow connect to Newton. Even your fellow haters are tired of your bait games. You might have some football knowledge or just love search engines who knows or cares but what i get is that you're just damn near senile and bored. That segment didnt make Cam look bad at all we already knew he ran a no huddle offense and we didnt here him complaining about Newton on the chalkboard or when he threw the ball. I dont take you serious at all and I hope others are smart enough to see thru your simple mind games

Dude, the article didn't exist last year. Think about that for a second

The premise isn't that Chucky's some QB guru, the premise is to let the viewer see how these guys react to less formal, more football heavy environment (compared to just drills, silly interview questions etc.). You don't need to like what Chucky thinks to like the show. He could love a guy after talking to him, I could hate him, it doesn't matter, I still appreciate the fact that I got that opportunity.

    • It was absolutely a catch, and I can’t believe how many folks were stating, before the NFL’s apology, that the overturn was the right call.  The ultimate question in this case is this: can a player complete a catch with only one hand? Of course, we all know the answer to that question, and it is an emphatic “Yes.” T-Mac maintained complete control with one hand (believe it was the right) while the other came off when the ball hit the ground. The ball was in the same position in the one hand (watch T-Mac’s fingers in relation to the NFL shield on the ball) after touching the ground as it was when it first went to the ground. Going back to the question above, if one hand can establish control, then there was no need for the other to stay on the ball, so long as the ball doesn’t move in that one hand that stays on it   It blew my mind that they overturned this in the first place. This should not be a “We got it wrong on the replay because there wasn’t clear and convincing evidence.” This should have been, “That was absolutely a catch.”
    • Sign him up. I am willing to bet he wouldn't finish a game with -2 yards.
    • He is just fuging limited in every way.  On one hand, and nfl player, you would want to bulk them up so long as it doesn’t limit their mobility, elasticity, flexibility, ROM, or dynamicism - as is the concern with bulking up.  But the issue with that is, you would be worried about that when a guy has those traits to begin with.  Bryce is a very average athlete with a weak arm.  So if you’re not gonna be a great athlete with a strong arm, bulk up.  And if you can’t or won’t bulk up, find another fuging profession that doesn’t require athleticism and arm strength.  You’re built like a bitch AND aren’t a great athlete - you can’t be subpar in both categories…  well, unless you play for the Panthers apparently.
