I would agree with you normally, but Vinny Cerrato is no longer on board. We actually have a 2 guys that know what the hell they are doing. It's refreshing after so many years. We still have a ton of talent missing, and I'm not expecting diddly next year either.

Snyder is the real problem, I think Cerrato was just carrying out his wishes. When they turned control over to Gibbs he had things going in the right direction, but Snyder couldn't keep his nose out of it and Gibbs finally realized he was never going to have full control, so he stepped down.

At the moment, it sounds like Snyder has backed off and is allowing Shanny and Allen to make decisions, we'll see how long that lasts...

It's sad for me, because I grew up a Skins fan and remember the glory days well. Snyder has turned that franchise into a joke.

I spoke to a friend within the organization today and he I found something he said very intersting. If you have read my past posts I have never claimed to know anyone or spreaded false rumors before so I have no reason to lie. Take it for what it is worth but he said the Panthers are more willing to take players with character issues this year then in past years. They really believe in Ron Rivera and described him as "a molder of men". They also hired a lot of "techers" on the coaching staff this year, so they believe that this is a good environment for "troubled" players. I was told that the DT from Hampton is high on their draft board and in the past would have probably crossed him off. Also if no CBs fall to them they will not reach, but rather will internally discuss if they are willing to take a chance at Jenkins if enters the supplementary draft. I found that interesting that they would already be talking about that.

That is so cool. Gives me a chubbie to have a HC who will develop people.

Cant' argue with there. I will comment about Gibbs though. He actually did have full control, which was a huge problem for a guy who hadn't been in the league in over a decade. He did turn the team around culture wise while he was there, but he flat out ran the team horribly. The guy pissed away picks for players like TJ Ducket (2nd rounder), Brunell (4th rounder), Lloyd (2nd rounder), and the infamous 2006 pre-draft trade up into the first round only to end up picking Jason Campbell. I love Gibbs, but the guy should have stayed in NASCAR.

Also he told me he is doesnt know this as a fact but from his sources he has heard if they trade up it will be for Kyle Rudolph or the CB from Virginia.

Yeah man this is pure crap, such crap that you should not even take your time answering it. Read all 500+ of my posts and never once have i posted a false rumor or claimed to know somebody. I went to UNC Charlotte as an accounting major, I now live up in NJ. During my time in NC I had a few internships and networked a lot. I applied for positions in the Carolina Panthers organization. While networking I made many contacts and met this person. So don't believe me i dont care. This is a message board and if you think it is crap go on to the next thread. If people have questions I am more then happy to help.
