Fire Roger Goodell.

Recommended Posts

1.) Goodell doesn't do what Goodell wants to do, he does what the majority of the 31 other NFL owners and 1 NFL Public Organization wants him to do.

2.) Goodell presented a deal in March to the players that was on the middle ground of every grievance the owners had with the players.

3.) The players have yet to this day presented a counter-offer and have only screamed "Books, Books, Books!" even after owners show them pertinent information about their expenditures. Just as predicted before the NFL gave that information to them, the NFLPA ignored it, just as they would do if the NFL gave them their real books, which the NBA PA did a few years ago. Why is it so bad to give the rich players their books? Because it would basically be a manual to creating a multi-billion dollar business to potential one day business rivals once the players leave/retire from the NFL.

Again, another fail thread from "NOT-awesomeness" for about the 300th time.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
