A little David Gettis love

I was at the San Fran game last year. It was awesome seeing him go through what he did. Drop that pass and come back and make a ridiculous catch that was thrown by, who, Oh right, MATT MOORE. Imagine what he can do with a consistent QB? Just didn't like that he would fall of the face of the earth next game. But that can be fixed. He has the potential to be a #1.

I believe if we get good QB play Gettis and LaFell will not have a down year. I think they still feel like they have something to prove and last year was not good enough for them!

If a player ever has a year that is good enough for them they get cut from my team. Always seek to do better.

Well according to LaFell's tweets, he works out almost every day.

I would sure as hell hope so. He's a professional athlete! I work out every day

And I'm not a pro.

There's ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE for anyone who plays in the NFL to not be in awesome shape at any time of the year! (barring injury) that's their fuggin job to stay in shape. I think if people dint show up in shape they should be cut from the team. If I ran a team, that's exactly how I'd run it.

Thatd be like a teacher showing up to work with no lesson plans,no books, no handouts, and no chalk...

When I was a kid, almost every NFL player used training camp to get in shape. Nowasays, they pretty much stay in shape all year long. It is such a competitive business that you lose out if you do not train year round.

I would hope Lafel is working extremely hard to prove he deserves his shot.
