Is this the new sideline hat for this season?

I wish the NFL would quit being dumbasses and let New Era take care of the hats. I'm tired of these generic ones that look like I'm ready to put on a flannel shirt with the sleeves cut off and go fishing.

the Black Reebok hat is the BEST. fug the rest. A real sports hat looks worn and is suppose to bend, it isn't about fashion or 'style', and sorry but new era hates suck ass. they are shaped all square and the rim is 10z larger than it should be flat as hell with fancy stickers ghetto as hell a sports cap. Wearing it with tags and stickers is stupid as hell wtf

My wife got me this hat for father's day. I love it.

Klong, I don't know if you realize this about flex fit hats, but you can pull the lid band until you hear it pop and it extends it. It's made that way on purpose, you'd be surprised how many people don't know this.

The prices on the jerseys are out of control, yes, but I don't have a problem with the NFL Equipment logo on the front. It's on the jerseys in real life so I don't have a problem with it on the replicas.

And as the poster above me pointed out.....not all their hats are elaborate...

I think you just want new era for the brand name..

Indeed, I like New Era, they are my trusted and preferred hat manufacturer, because they specialize in hats, lol. Reebok has stretched themselves thin IMO, and honestly, I wonder how relevant they're gonna be once their exclusive rights deal ends with the NFL because their shoes have fallen out of favor compared to where they used to be.

As far as the Equipment thing, I get you on not minding it if you want a replica... But, I just think the whole "equipment" emblem is tacky and over the top. Like I said, I had millions of jerseys in my late teens right before they switched to the NFLE crap, and I bought one jersey since - a Peppers jersey... It was before the embroidered ones were mainstream... The numbers peeled and the NFLE emblem was crooked on the collar and tilted to one side. And it cost me about $30 more than the NFL jerseys I had by Nike/Reebok before the NFLE exclusive deal with Reebok kicked in. I stopped buying jerseys then.

Reebok shouldn't be making hats, just my opinion... And I just don't find what they've been putting out fashionable or quality, so I'm just not interested in giving them my money to put out more crap products. But, it's just my opinion, to each their own...

I've trusted New Era for years now and have never been let down. I bought a Hornets fitted when I was like 16, all black with the NBA logo on the back and the New Era on the side. I don't wear it anymore, but I still have it, as that was one of the pieces for fandom I'm most proud of. It looked good and was built to last. I feel all of New Era's stuff is, so yeah, I do prefer them.

Better, but still something looks off to me. Regardless, I'd like more than one "cool looking" option to choose from, but I do prefer the all black with logo style. The bill still looks slightly curved though.

If NFL hats start looking like this, I'll die inside.

If new era took over and did that, I would do them like I do those hats now when I'm out shopping at Lids... IGNORE THEM. Those are some of the ugliest sh*ts EVER. Of course, with more colorways/styles to choose from, their bound to go over the top on a few, and those are prime examples.

Only people I see wear those hats are people that are trying way too hard or homeless people that felt they found gold in a dumpster or donation center after someone realized what a bad buy they made, lol. Those scream "counterfeit flea market" all over them, and are butt ugly. That's not what I'm looking for, but with increased numbers of options, you're gonna get some ugly styles in there too.

Here are some options I'd like to see done with the Panthers or Bobcats besides the basic all black/logo on front style I've already mentioned:

Every single one of those hats are flat billed, which is my issue with new era. They have a few standard bill's, but they are few and far between, and most of them are rather boring. If they took over for the NFL, we'd see a "new era" in ghetto hats, but the only curve bill hats you'd be able to find are the all black one or all white one....

There are people that like curve bill, creative hats, and the NFL provides for those people, and for people that like simpler hats, and flat bill junkies, which is why I think the NFL has actually done a good job.
