Not really, I have come to realize that the Panthers feel solid about their wide receiving corp as long as #89 is still here. Signing a Braylon Edwards, Mike Sims-Walker, etc... would be nice; but it would also hinder the growth and development of these two studs in the making right here...

Would I have wanted us to go after him? Fug no! He's a pain in the ass who is well past his prime. When he was at the top of his game, his antics were charming in a way. Now they are just sad and desperate.

All I'm gonna say is if the Panthers sign a big name wide out like Edwards, Sims-Walker etc.. don't expect Gettis and LaFell to amount to anything because reps and experience will only be taken away from them. Everyone on this board loves LaFell and Gettis enough to where they were happy that neither of them were traded for Olsen, but when it comes to them playing it seems as if no one is confident in their abilities. Have a little faith. Smith, Gettis, LaFell, Edwards, and Pilares is a solid young group of wide outs. In my opinion that is at least a top 15 wide receiving corp.
