The NFL needs to do the right thing right now, and let Pryor into the draft. If he’s good enough to get drafted, and if (as we’re hearing) Jon Gruden is privately expressing a belief that Pryor may be better than Cam Newton, then Pryor will get drafted, even without a Pro Day workout and with NFL teams trying to slap together a season on the fly.

Pryor is good, but he is not nearly as good skill wise, physicall or mentally as cam. Doesn't seem to have the same confidence either. He also hasn't shown that he could win like Cam did in College.

I don't mean to get off topic. I saw this and had to put in my opinion. Josh johnson may not be better than freeman,but i think he does have NFL starter level talent.

Agreed. Gruden use to go through 3 - 4 QB changer a year. Now he is considered an expert. Bull Jive!!

While they are both physically similar Pryor doesn't have the mindset that cam does coming into the NFL. I think Pryor will do alright, but don't expect him to do anything major his first couple years as a pro.

He can throw the ball on the back shoulder. He can put the ball where he wants it and drive it when he has to, and that's important.

He's a polished, confident kid and I like his upside.
