Im sorry but i think a big reason why our run game and offensive line is half as good as it was, is because of well.... hoov.

And i know there are not many proper full backs in the league anymore but damn, thoughts?

I completely agree with you. I have been saying for a while now. When Hoov hit the guy he was blocking he drove them all the way into the second level, leaving huge holes to run through. This is the reason why our running backs constantly had big runs. Fiametta will hit his guy, and barely does enough to get him out of the way. Fia only has adequate blocking skills, suspect receiving skills, can carry but only for very short yardage gains. Lots of carries by the fullback not something I think is very important.

Nothing is spectacular to cheer about by Fia period. Here is his career stats:

There was a couple of real good ones in free agency this year. I was really hoping Hurney would ****** up Vonta Leach and run away with him. He opened up some ridiculously big holes for Adrian Foster last year. He’s the reason Foster posted such great numbers last year. Leach is also a good receiving fullback too. Here is Leach’s receiving stats over the last five years:

Stroud is still out there, Leonard Davis, and I'm sure a decent cornerback is about to be waived, so ultimately we will get guys for our position of needs. (CB, G, and DT)

Is Fiametta already on IR? I thought that was just speculation from picking up Felton. They have already cut Jackson, so I don't know if it is a sure thing he will go on IR. Maybe I missed it.
