What is this "carring" you speak of? The only thing I can think of is that you actually mean "wasting space", much like we did with David Carr, hence the term, "carring."

However, I maintain that 5 S's is a good number. One back up for each and a 5th man as a hybrid S/CB (since we are thin at CB). Then, 4 TEs because why the hell not? We don't have a proven stud at running back, so what is the harm in having Hartsock and Brockel there to be blockers on the goal line?

Oh my bad XLightsOutX = spellcheck. I don't agree with carrying:o 4 TE's, especially with our RB group. What we need is better OL blocking. Maybe Max Jean Giles will bring us that. We also need a #2 CB and a #2 WR, carring, I mean carrying 4 TE's doesn't make sense to me.

As to the topic, Brockel is technically our fourth tight end but in the day to day I expect he'll be used more as our second fullback.

Here is my take on the roster as it sits right now. Rivera kept the best players he could. Regardless of position. He just may feel that the players we have will best fit what he wants to do.

I will stop short of saying this is a throw away year defensively, BUT Rivera must find out what he has. He cannot improve a product he is not familiar with. As the season goes on, he may alter the line-up. But as of right now, he knows what he has, maybe he is comfortable with that. In a teaching and coaching sort of way.

I refuse to allow my giddy to be messed with. So I am going to trust Rivera has a plan as to how he wants his team to play. And at this point in time, he may not be as giddy as I am, but he will soon allow himself to be giddyfied.

That does not even make sense to me, but hey, I had the inlaws this weekend so I am entitiled. And GOOOOO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!

As long as you have 4 guys off the line, is should be legal. Now if you are asking if it is feasible?
