Mr Scot Appreciation thread

I'm honored, but unworthy.

I'll grant that I've been watching, studying and/or playing football longer than many on here have been alive, but that just makes me an old man (sometimes a grumpy one).

Regardless, my opinions are still just opinions, and my insight is that of an average fan, no different than anyone else's. Sometimes right, sometimes wrong. Ande in the end, I come here to talk football because it's fun.

No thanks or glory needed, but glad to be of service.

I was gonna give you props until you spelled "and" incorrectly. There is no e in and. Come on Scot, you can do better.

:D

So does it make him Darren Gant.

Long time ago, someone had me pegged as Scott Fowler because I went by 'Scot' and I talked about birds a lot (i.e."fowl"). It was smart deduction on their part, just wasn't true.

I've been accused of being so many different people it's a wonder I don't have multiple personalities

As someone who has read Mr. Scot's contributions on various internet boards dating back to, well, the beginning..... I endorse this thread.

I remember back in the old days when we posted on AOL message boards and carried cell phones in suitcases because batteries weighed 28 lbs......

I actually, when drunk enough, can convince other drunks that it was Mr. Scot, NOT AL GORE, who invented the interwebs.

Was reading along in a thread (about Hangartner starting) and along comes some simple brilliant wisdom from Mr Scot.

http://www.carolinahuddle.com/forum/showpost.php?p=3302215&postcount=22

That happens so often around here....just decided tonight not to take it for granted. I appreciate his wisdom, insight, and knowledge of the game as well as his knowledge of the the Panthers. Anything he writes is always worth reading.

Mr Scot is one of those rare posters who makes this forum better.

I thank you Mr Scot and hope others will as well

I credit ladypanther as being the heart and spirit of this board. I would expect nothing less from her than rightly to credit the venerable Mr. Scott with his continually sage insight.

As far as I am concerned, these two always get my full attention when they have something to say. Like many on here, I am very thankful to have both of you posting

I credit twylyght as being the most appreciative poster on this board.

TRD is Mr. Scots Alt.

I honestly think the Birds do most of his posts.

They do the research, but I do the typing.

Not to throw cold water on this heartfelt thread but is this in the right forum??

Probably belongs in the Smack Forum.

Are we knighting him?

We should be!

Here's to witty old men (whom are also panther fans!)

Who's got the sword?
