Because we are currently only carrying three DT's. We need 4 to have a solid rotation.

I fully expect to sign a big body in the middle....and maybe now another LB for depth.

The reason you add veterans is to help coach the young players when the coaches can't. Veteran leadership means a lot. Also, you need veteran guys to be able to come in and gives the rookies a rest every now and then. You don't want to play them every single play as rookies and get them hurt.

I don't really understand why we would bring in Alex Brown, but he would probably be an improvement over Selvie.

I have wanted Igor O. more than I have wanted anyone else.

Maybe a combination of him and Alex Brown or him and like PAt Williams or something.

And sit idle with two open roster spots? Even if we bring in another DT we'll only have 4. Neblett, Fua and McClain will continue to see significant playing time.

Awful is not the word ......youthful and inexperienced and not getting push at the point of attack on pass rushing.I also saw them getting pushed out of their gap...more so in the first half.

I for one always want the Panthers to win! I will never sit back and say I'm happy with the effort guys maybe next year. That crap pissed me off when I coached little league. In reality it's mostly about winning! These people, from the front office to the playing field are paid professionals, so they have a job to do. When I go to buy a ticket I'm buying a ticket hoping to see my team be competitive and win, not thinking okay I'll waste 3 hrs of watching this and hope for the best next year. Carolina, with it's football team being ranked up their in profits, deserves a winning team. If not then we at least deserve to see the Owner and front office showing effort and not to sit on a 6 win season.
